Best Engine sounds, post here (I've found mine!)

I dont have a link to a sound file but all im going to say is the best car i've heard would be a Twin Turbo Toyota Supra, running anything over 500bhp !!!
 
No link, but mine would definately be the Pagani Zonda F. That is an apic car.

Nice, sounds like a WWII aircraft on idle.

I cant pinpoint to my one favorite, I like BRM V-16 (Ive had that MP3 for along time), I like V8 rumble and roar, F1 V10's, Skylines Modified and standard on rev limter, and may more, I like too many to mention.
 
It's got to be F1 engines for me...

This is a very sweet sounding Ferrari V12 (don't know what year though)

...and this is a very raw sounding Williams V10 (from 2003, I think)

was that your car? If so , try putting the camera on the side of the car... You can hear it much more clearly that way.....
BTW It sounded like flowmasters to me?
I think Mine is better :) but thats because its mine...lol
BBK longtube headers, off road x pipe and Steeda stainless steel cat-back exhaust 👍..... roughly $1200 exhuast on a $24,000 car :lol: can you say stupid? :D
 
-Boeing B-29 Superfortress: 4x 2200hp Wright R-3350-23 Duplex Cyclone 18-cylinder radials each with two exhaust-driven turbochargers. Absolutly stunning noise. This video doesn't really get the sound across properly. Maybe Mike Rotch will have something better (is he even around here anymore?)

-Whatever they use in the diesel locomotives around here. The one in HowStuffWorks' writeup is a 139.2 liter, 2 stroke, turbodiesel V12. Can't find noises.

The attached file is a small, low, low quality video clip of a TVR Speed 12 Fly By.

I had to cut the video, then reduce the file size (which in turn reduces video quality).

The video is bad but the sound quality is not reduced in the same way. 👍

I think the sound is still good enough to get across the "tie-fighter" goodness of this car. :dopey:

Racing Flix is the place to find the whole clip.
No top gear test lap time, but still a nice preview / review of the Speed 12.

It's just too bad "RF" is always slower than hell for even the broad band users. :(
My dial-up rarely gets anything from them anymore. :irked:
Luckily I still manage a download here and there.

Which reminds me, if you're going to download anything from racing flix, get the 360CS vs GT3 RS top gear vid. :eek:

One hell of a video with an awesome test lap for each (not to mention a traditional review for each one as well). :D

If you pay for the service, it tremendously indreases download speeds. My friend subscribes and he lets me use his account from time-to-time, great site 👍
 
Well I don't have a Sound Clip Or Video but my dad's Ford Mondeo V6 Sounds nice (I'll miss it)

Mclaren F1's sound really really nice. Love the sound of that V12.
EDIT: Like many have said, the Zonda F is amazing, and who can't forget the wail of the 4-Rotary found in the 787B?
