Also any car that has a Muffle thats more than 3" in diameter gets into the elimination round, also if it has Neon lights or a LCD/DVD Screen in it anywhere (who the hell watches TV when they are driving? I know i dont want to be near anyone on teh road that has a tv in thier car, they should be driving not watching a movie) Also any gaming systems automatically qualify it as a Ricer, Any subwoofer that is not properlly equalized with the rest of the sound qualifies you as a ricer. I dont need to hear your bass, I know its in there I dont want to hear your body panels shake its retarded and subwoofers are too heavy, besides you shouldnt be listening to music that loud anyway you should be listening to your car, and performance driver knows that. Also If your call wheels "Rims" you classify as a tool, Rims are the outside edge of a wheel also known as lip. Also if you use NOS you are a RICER, NOS not only is the worst thing you could do to an engine but it also shows how much of a girl you are, you need the hell of a fuel to go fast. The only people that should use NOS are the ones that have replaced thier Pistons, Valves, Cam Belt with a Chain, Block, Crankshaft with ones that will withstand the high temperatures also known as race parts since they are able to handle the heat generated by High Octane Fuels like 115 and 108. Also if your car has chrome wheels, anyone looking for performance knows Chrome is weak, heavy and over priced its only a plating but still heavy. If your wheels Spin on a bearing = ricer, or if you replaced your tail lights or head lights with some clear euro hell, taillights dont make you go faster, buy something thats not useless. Same with shift knobs, dont buy one unless you need one, that means if your last one broke in half than you can buy one. Also do not call your car fast unless you know it is for a fact, do not talk about horsepower of your car unless you have taken it to a dyno, adding an airfilter doesnt give you mroe HP you can BUY HP, you have to buy parts that allow the engine to generate more hp. Dont do burnouts in front wheel drive cars it looks retarded, and also dont do burnouts in rear wheel drive cars that dont have a LSD or Locked Differential. Cause 1 wheel spinning looks equally retarded. Dont do burnouts, it only demonstrated that your a tool and you can piss your money away on tires (maybe this explains why people buy spares as the actual wheel) If you must spin your tires, do it in 2nd or 3rd gear and dont drop the clutch then tell me about it or do donuts/circles whatever you like to call them.

That wasn't easy to read at all. So, I didn't.
If you make a long post like this in the future, Add a paragraph break every now and again. For readability.
Unless you didn't want anyone to read it any way.

And as you're a nOOb I would direct you to the "Acceptable Use Policy"

For longevity's sake, keep the flaming to a minimum. Trust me.
That was pretty weak, BTW. 👎

You know, most of what is there is true, but I take issue with calling replacing a shift knob rice. The shift knob is one of the parts through wiich the driver interacts with the car. So, changing a shift knob can improve performance, by making shifting more comfortable and easier. The last thing you want in a race is for your wrist or hand to start hurting because of a badly designed knob.

yes if ricers can afford it, so its usually the rice itself thats riced out, (talking about cheap Japanese cars)

So, in summary:

You can't "rice" a BMW 3 series because it isn't Japanese.

If you add a bodykit, 3"+ muffler (or "exhaust" as we like to call them), neon lights, a TV, a games console, a big subwoofer, NOS and clear taillights, you are a "ricer".

So... what if you add a bodykit, 3"+ muffler (or "exhaust" as we like to call them), neon lights, a TV, a games console, a big subwoofer, NOS and clear taillights, to a BMW 3-series? Would that not make it "rice" and therefore allowable on the list? And, since you can buy 1991 3-series for a little over £1000 in reasonable condition, are they not easily accessible cars, and therefore ripe for "ricing"?

Convinced yet?

We GET that you like BMW 3-series. We GET that you think they shouldn't be molested in this way. But the fact is they ARE.

To add to what Famine said.
We have seen "rice" on Fords, Chevies, Dodges, and a wide variety of non-japanese cars.
Rice is an ATTITUDE. It is represented by people of little intelligence doing things to cars that really shouldn't be done.
It includes, but is not limited to, modifications that are cosmetic in nature, and do not add to the overall functionality of the vehicle.
This may occur in a "non-rice" auto. But to some people, what they think is "pretty" is "functional" to them.

There is also the "attitude" that I mentioned. To borrow from Jeff Foxworthy (with apologies):

If you are driving a car that has had more spent on paint and body mods, than you spent on the car...you might be a ricer

If you have a stereo, that is louder than the Concorde, and you roll thru my neighborhood with it cranked, windows breaking from the volume, and blood running out of your ears...you might be a ricer.

If the wing on your car is so big that your front wheels leave the pavement not from downforce, but the sheer weight of the thing...you might be a ricer.

If you have "type-R" or "GT-R" emblems on any car that isn't an Integra, Civic Type-R, or Skyline, and you're dumb enough to think that's cool...you might be a ricer.

If you cop an attitude, and wanna throw down because someone insulted your car, but have no issues with some fool that disses your girl...you might be a ricer. (and now your girl doesn't respect you either).

If you have a DVD player/game system in your car that is visible from the driver's seat, and you try to use it while the car is in motion...you are an idiot, and you might be a ricer.

I hope that clears some things up for you. For me at least, I associate the term "ricer" with stupidity and rudeness.
If you choose for some reason to put a wing on a Focus the size of a picnic table, but you are considerate, and otherwise prove to be intelligent, You might get a :odd:. But you will otherwise be considered, non-rice.

i think it'd be easiest to rice out a tercel or any car w/out any help from the aftermarket. this is cause people get creative and start to make **** out of whatever they can find in their backyards and garages
