i am using Pinnacle Studios, and its awesome because i got the card with it that allows me to capture video directly from the ps2. and i'd say the best editing software (not free) is adobe premiere, that is, if i could ever find out how to use the damn program. but i love pinnacle b/c its very easy to use. but i've used the free windows movie maker, and that is decent.

On second thought, don't waste your time with that.
It will only convert the first five minutes of footage.
I found the same program elsewhere, except it has a crack.

Vegas is the best period. It's more user friendly than Premier, but it is just as full of features. However, Windows Movie Maker is your best bet, for a free easy to use program. If you have Windows XP, you should have it on your computer already.............
