...I may just have to shove them in there anyway...

I'd shove the C6 in, however, it is actually more of a luxury car (though teh badge doesn't carry the prestige of Mercedes, BMW etc).

Hmmm... I was about to say Toyota Avalon, but someone picked that already. Do they still make the Toyota Altezza RS200? If not, then I nominate the base Chrysler 300, since I think that is the only one in the price range...

Having driven a 2005 Commodore SS, I'm glad it has been nominated.
This car should stand a good chance of winning, even over some European cars.
I love this car! (Well, not literally.)
