Best GT300 noise?

I'm driving the Wedssport Celica '03 in the nurburgring 4h at the moment, an absolutely brilliant car - but the noise is, well it's like most 4cyl engines, not great.

Soooo, which of the GT300 or similar (e.g. Silvia RM) cars have the best noise?

I love this class of car in this race, and want to do it again but in a car with noise that I can turn *UP* !

Thanks for any help, I'm a *looooong* way from buying all the cars to just find out for myself!

Other JGTC/GT500 suggestions fine too, but they're overpowered for the race so not what I'm looking for :D
 
If you guys love high-pitched stuff, there's always the Amemiya AsparaDrink RX-7.

S2000 LM sounds low pitched as opposed to the RX-7 but is still as sweet. This is the better choice for the guys who prefer low-pitched tuner sounds.

The Altezza touring car sounds kinda strange.

For the GT500 class...

The GT-R has quite a generic sound. The NSX sounds more unique but still something worthy to be indifferent of.

That's all I can remember, let's see the choices of the other people with perhaps a different taste.
 
Amemiya AsparaDrink RX-7.

if you wanna know what this sounds like buy the newest Premium RX7 (NOT the efini) and put a titanium racing exhaust on it.. sounds the exact same apart from when ticking over...

Since reading and posting.. i tested out most of the cars and i reckon the ARTA Garaiya makes me wanna crank up the T.V

It isn't amazing sounding at first but as the engine temperature rises and you get into higher gears the car starts to make a very sweet exhaust note which is just amazing :)

I'd like to say also, the Subaru CUSCO DUNLOP ADVAN has the most manufactured sound i've ever heard :(

Must it be GT300? i know of a few amazing sounding cars that could match the others in that race but guarantee a win :)

Nope, anything that's competitive but that sounds good! That's why i gave the Silvia RM as another example...GT300's just the closest performance match I've yet found.

I had a good race in the Chapperal 2D a week ago, but think it was overpowered.

Started another thread to get people's data on what's competitive for the race :)

Sorry but I found that cars noise makes me want to MUTE my T.V lol. I think it sounds hideous :yuck:

If you don't particularly just want a race car try the Dodge Viper GTS and add the Sports Exhaust :) It sounds so sweet. The sound can get repetitive though if you don't range out your gearing :)

It's not that hideous, it just sounds like a truck or something. Pretty strange.
