Can someone give me some tips to find the best handling hybrid??? I made a ZZ2 (stock chassis/drivetrain/formula suspension) do 49 seconds on midfield.

49 is weak, i can run a 35 :D

do you have xport, possably i can make one for you, but i would say the key is good downforce, and well tunned suspension, and not loads of horsepower, i would suggest a gearing to top out at around 250 or a little higher, make sure your horsepower isnt over 4000 in that 4wd car cause it will be too much (you can always try more, but i like to substain a contast speed over the whole track, its alot smoother run)

besides that you should run the whole track with only braking on the turn just before the small s turn

...yes...

you could try to give just more power (500/750 more on power multiplier...) and a little bit more downforce (may be 25/45...) and , I believe , you'd run 38/42 seconds...

oops...at Midfield...

maybe...;)

if you like a nice quatermile machine, here is my gt-40. you may have to change some of the settings to the way you like them.
it runs 3 seconds easy.

to avoid misunderstanding....

I've spent a lot of time workin' on my hybrids...

I like to work and define a kind of handling based on weight , brakes and suspensions...

I dont care much about power multiplier but to test monster accelleration at Midfield...I'll try to stay around a maximum of two times the car power...

but , you know , this is just a game...so...I'll try your monster just to know your way of hybriding (even if takin' a look at your ini is sufficient to understand part of your work...)...

thanks

The car is designed to accelerate as fast as possible and the most obvious and easiest way to do that is to use the power multiplier(note: he may have overdid it a little bit).

i just need to keep my gt-40 on the ground so i can get an acurate reading on the quater mile...it wont read the back end, the only thing on the ground...

Don't think I can't build a car to beat anything of yours anthony, :trouble: lol. Once my students are hybriding for a while....they will calm down a bit and see the art of building. Not just go for the biggest HP and fastest time around ___ track. Anthony did learn fast and was probably my most eager to learn student of all time. He is very good and does posess enough knowledge to help many others now. Which is all I asked of him in return for his apprenticeship.

GT40/787B has come to me on occasion, but mostly has learned from Anthony.

I own a realistic fast car in real life, but since its a game I wanted a fast 1/4 mile car(unrealistic) and an unrealistic fast track car. BY THE WAY I DID NOT USE THE TIRE GRIP CODE for my r390...and I hit 34.5 seconds. DId you use the tire grip code for your 3 second 1/4 mile car? Because I have a 3 second one that I downloaded and the screen shakes like crazy because of it .

what's the "...TIRE GRIP CODE..." you're talkin' about...?

thats because its 15mm off of the ground and the grip value is 998 (look at the .ini) not to mention the 50x power multiplier, and ontop of that, i got everypeice that provided the most efficient hp without giving me bad-turbo lag, though running an engine with both NA tuning and Turbo is probably why im still running in the 3's

🤬 YOU ANTHONY!

Heres my sicko car...Ran a 33.9 just now on midfield

Drives like a dream no vibrations in screen and the power is really smooth.

I must say that I don't like the screen to bounce either, but I have made two or three cars that do it. Never for anything other than STRAIGHT courses it screws me all up on curves(mostly cause I use the bumper cam). I am an artist not a speed demon thats why I like Chaos's cars so much.
