I find S2000 and Skyline GTR great handling cars, but I think Mazda has the best handling cars. Miata, RX-8 and RX-7 are trully incredible. What's your thoughts?

The Toyota MR2 (90s) is excellent at handling. I hear the MR2 spyder is even better. Gotta love the mid-engine layout.

I have a 91 MR2 and it handles like a dream in the twisties.

i personally like the S2000 a lot, as i am a big fan of Hondas, however i mentioned before, the S2000 gearbox in GT4P seems a little akward. i mean it's no way a S2000 will reach 165+ km/h in 3 rd gear, but that's what happen in GT4P, suppose S2000 has a close ratio 6-speed, which GT4P seems to make something wrong on it, hope they fix this in final version.
Otherwise S2000 should be the car I choose instead of Elise

I love the S2000 (being a Honda fan helps of course :) ) But for sheer handling balance I would have to say that its the MX-5 and RX-7. The MR2 is great as well and the MR-S (MR2 spyder) wich can be unlocked with AR MAX is fantastic. You turn the wheel and bang!, it responds. One of the best places for that car is Citti di Aria. Try it.

Ignore the horsepower numbers and the first generation Miata is right up there with the best of them!

And with about the same laptimes as the Miata, there's the unlockable '73 Lancer 1600, which turns out to be a hot little sedan!

The Lotus is pretty nifty around the track. Personally, I don't like the short wheelbase and small turning circle. I'd go for the Honda NSX any day.

I totally agree on what is written about the NSX. But also the EVO VIII MR is one piece
of a glued-to-the-track mover.

Dude! I have a '94 (170ish BHP). Makes me smile every time!

I like the S2000, RX7 and NSX most, but it's REALLY fun to drive the Integra Type-R , with normal tires to learn to controll understeer with your throttle !!! REALLY nice drive, same with the WRX STi:tup:

S2000, Silvia, and Integra Type R. I like drifting the S2000 around in the New York track, down shift it into 1st gear after a nice weight transfer and you can link drift the s2000 around the sharp S curve in New York.

I think that the HSC handles better than the NSX... especially as it's also quicker and has better brakes...

Other cars that handle well are the Cappuccino and the Delta... altho the Delta has the race tyres so it sticks to the road!!

Yes Integra R is one of the best handling FF cars
For FR, RX7 and S2000 handles well, but for drifter, go for S14
For 4WD, i usually use Evolution 8 MR, but Skyline GTR R34 seems more fun to drive with it distrubes more power to its rear wheel.

hahaha. that just cant get fast enough to slide! :) i'd have to say the elise 190 (above 2nd gear, cos the shift between 1st adn 2nd is ****ing aweful) and especially the evo VIII MR

OMG you like the evo VIII MR??? IT's frekin hard to drive with that car. it's very slow on the corners and I think the normal evo VIII is better at handling than the evo VIII MR

yeah dunno why i just find it fun to drive. its not ALWAYS about performance n stuff, just how fun it is.
