But on to more pressing matters.

The rear is butt-ugly. Seriously, a blank space in the middle - I'd expect more from Renault after the Megane...

Is that also because it's the most likely MPV to fall into the sea because its brakes failed? :p

How come every time I suggest the Espace (it's not even as though I shove them down people's throats) people come in here and make boat/tree/collision/plastics/Dame Ellen MacArthur jokes?

It's only slightly more likely to crash than anything else in this thread, and that's only because it's bigger (possible exception being the Oddyssey in length, haven't checked yet).

It's a fine MPV.

Look, people like you drove Lancia out of the UK, I'll be damned if I let you do the same to Renault!

Probably not bigger than the USDM Oddyssey.

People like them drove Lancia out of business

But seriously - there's nothing, except, possibly, a Lada or Ssangyong, that looks worse than current Lancias.

And no, I do not feel bad about comparing these two, looks-wise:

Lancia Ypsilon '06

With this:

Ssangyong Actyon (The guy who named this car ought to be shot!)

Ssangyong Rodius (Worst design ever.)

Well I was going to nominate the 2nd gen Previa, except it's no longer made. Then to my amazement, there's a third gen, sold in Australia and Japan (As the Estima/Tarago)!

If it's anything like the previous gen it'll be huge and not have any of the reliability problems of the Espace (Of the Danny fanboy-ism aswell :sly: )

-> I nominate the Honda Stream:

^ This vehicle deserves to be in the US!

(:

That looks a pretty cool Honda. Now Honda (USA) needs to dump the craptastic CRV and replace it with this.

^ It's not craptastic, in fact, its the best-selling SUV in the US. A lot of girls from all ages loves it. I've seen a lot of women drivers who own a CR-V here in Vegas. :)

which may be the problem, TVB....

By the way, I like the looks of your nominee, too. any more info?

^ I see your point, at least they have THEIR car. :sly:

-> The Stream is perfect for people (like me) that has various reasons, it seats seven (just in case), decent luggage space (just in case), decent handling (like a Civic), and the USDM Odyssey is just too big, thirsty, and expensive. If the R20 (150hp) engine is too weak, why not offer the K24 from the CR-V or the marvelous second-gen 2.2 CTDi Diesel engine (in which will get right 'round 40-50 mpg easy).

(:

-> If the nomination was closed two days ago, why can't someone close this thread? We've been blabbing here like were stupid. :indiff:

A little warning would have been nice but ah well..
