Best MR car?!?!?!?!

i have to say that the Bmw M1 is the best MR....the M1 is the most furious of the low horsepower MR...... the M1 was made to corner and handle like no other car in its class (in its day)..... it was a car that can make anyone stare...

I would have to say the NSX-R. It won car of the year by Evo magazine. Honda NSX Was the first all aluminum car (in 1990), with its aluminum chassis and body. Its an amazing car. Honda NSX Was designed to beat Ferrari 348 in every category, and it did. Not until the F355 did Ferrari match the NSX performance and not until the F360 did it surpass it. The NSX-R now will beat dominate most cars on the track including the F360, M3, GT-R, Supra, Evo, STi, Alot of things you throw at it on a curcuit it will destory. It tied up with the 2004 Corvette Z06 and the GT3 with a 7:56 at the nurburinring track that is quite amazing if you ask me. A car with around 290hp V6 around 2800lbs beating cars way much power and probably alittle heavier but got the power on their side. The NSX-R is a great handling car probably the best handling car from japan. With its racing suspention every one has to try its best not to be rip up by this machine. Incredible.. all i have to say.

My second would have to be MR2 *old model turbo* :D

interesting..... the Nsx R is a great car..... can kill all that comes in it wai..... Honda pryde!!! but still what does every1 else think about the "mest MR"

Haha! The Bugatti 16/4 Veyron IS the ****:
The Fastest, High powered supercar this side of the Ferrari Enzo.

Handling wise, NSX-R, Elise GT1, and the Enzo are the tops!

Best for some people is not always best for other people. And considering only 75 road going versions of the car exist....it could hardly be called a production vehicle.

Here, I rank the MR's by class range:
Class R- [R] McLaren F1 GTR LM
Class SS-Bugatti 16/4 Veyron
Class S-Lotus Elise GT1
Class A-Honda NSX-R
Class B-Toyota MR-2 turbo [SW20]
Class C-Lotus Elise (with the Toyota engine)
Class D-Honda Beat

They wanted to get the shifting to be as smooth as the NSX...

Where does it say anything about them using the NSX platform as a "reference"?

They use the NSX as "reference" because theres cable linkage and the cable shifter qulity IS the NSX. How else can they do it without using the NSX as "reference" ? Anyways I never said anything about the NSX platform, but gernerally they did use the NSX as "reference".

Sorry if i dont make sense, :D

he never said something about the new GT, right? ah, you suck. he said "GT40", I assume he is talking about the old, cool one. wich I also say its the best MR. and I also agree with Famine. I dont like "exotic" MRs. but I cant denny the countach/miura, and the XJ220 :D

Well, if he was talking about the old GT, then forgive me. If he was talking about the new one then yes they did use the NSX as reference.
