I know you all will probably say they are all pretty much the same, but I'm using the AJ Al-something Fusion and it seems s much slower compared to the Impalas and Camrys somehow. I got the Red Bull Camry in a ticket and wow, that thing is slow like hell! What's wrong here?

They are all slightly different. Chevrolet seem to have slight edge on raw speed, Toyot appears a better pusher, and Ford's appear all round good I think.

All cars have a run in Period.
After you drive any number of miles in a Car the BHP increases...
Then when you change the oil For the second time BHP increase yet again.

Your noticing that combined with a physiological effect on your driving.
All Nascars are the Same performance even the 2011 or 2010 models, Thats why NASCAR is the Fairer Race in A/B-spec, like all 1 car races...
As Its driver skill, car tune then Grid position, that Decides the Winner.
Also makes time trails more even as their is no PP difference after engine wears in.

Nascar is the most even B-spec remote race event as well.

And no the advantage the ford fusion had in the early days was removed buy Nascar rules. They were not going to allow ford to repeat the over engineering of past car models.

There is no difference in the cars. They max power is 892 hp and that is it.Prove to me what the difference is. I have all the cars 2010 and 2011 and there is no difference.

there is a slight difference in handleing i think. cause last night me and my brother were on 2 different systems. i was running a 2010 jimmy he was running a 2011 jimmy i would run 41.685 fastest he gets a 41.580 fastest. same exact setup down to the gear ratios. we switched systems his car the 2011 was a smidge more stable in the corners than the 2010. granted the time difference was only .1 if you listen to the car the 2010 will slide the tires in the corner where as the 2011 will not slide the tires causeing a loss of speed. oh and also his corner entry speed on the back stretch was 221-222 where mine in 220-221. and like i said the suspention, aero, lsd, power everything is the same

There is absolutely NO difference in these cars.....AT ALL.. Any difference you are noticing is all in your head.

Yeah... And that's why the Nascar races get heated up for being unforeseeable who to win the competition after all.

Only difference I could tell is that the Ford NASCARs have a different engine sound from the other two manufactures.

There is already a thread like this somewhere, give me a sec while a search for it.

OK so I found these and I think the top one has more info

Good read..

A point about a comment in one of those threads about "The Car of Tomorrow" - Those cars dont run anymore.... Those were the ones with the "Wing" spoiler and looked (IMO) good... Now they are back to the old school "Lip" spoiler and even changed the front again...

As far as engines, they are all similar... Any differences are killed (in real life) by the restrictor plates they have and also the other things to "level the field".

Suspensions are all pretty much the same (other than the settings), the bodies are just molded junk (again to balance the field) --- On a side note Ford actually put the Mustang in the series below the top (Nationwide Cup) and they had to make the Mustang look like something its not to meet requirements to race it... So even the body design is regulated.

In the old days of NASCAR (Winston Cup) there were TONS of differences between the manufacturers. Today, yes there is a "HUGE" difference.... the logo and fake headlight paintjobs...

Settings... thats the ONLY edge you have with these... Settings, Settings, Settings... then your driving and choices of when to lead and when to follow...

So, no there is no difference. All are the same PP and HP... maybe slightly different weights (like a lb... wooohooo) and MAYBE some other VERY slight differences but everything in NASCAR is regulated now making even the "real cars" the same basically.

Define the exct same? i'm a bit confused. if you take 2 equal cars( which in real life is not possible) and run them stock around daytona. as a example my 850HP Nascar will run daytona in 41.9 to 42 flats. What your saying is say I put the same setup on another model like a camry in theory because there all the same that camry shud run 41.9s to 42 flats correct? so tell me how, cuz i've tried it. Why is my camry with the exact same settings running 42.3s and 42.4s? is this what people call the same? If you call withing a half a second the same then your right, but i call the same within a 1/10th. So i guess it depends on who your asking.

NOT Camry Nascar VS Real Camry.... Those are NOTHING alike. Look up the Nationwide Cup Mustang and tell me that is a Mustang... its not... It barely resembles one besides the painted front

Camry, Fusion, Impala in NASCAR are all almost the same other than settings.

Picture to prove my point for those that dont feel like searching....

Tell me this "Mustang?!" looks like a Mustang really (It sure as heck isnt running the Mustang parts, and note the"Quarter Window"... its HUGE!!!)

Only difference is the numbers, the paint schemes and the badges. Its the tuning aspect that makes the difference. I used to think the toyota got more BHP but that has been dispelled many times now.

Cant remember off the top of my head, but the top speed to have the gears at is 249, and thats for drafting. Solo efforts on Daytona are a click down

This thread has an easy answer. The best Nascar ride is the 14 car 👍

No no no the 88 is like 10 seconds faster on any track.:D Why? Because it's junior.:sly:
