The Aston Martin DLC car (Vantage?) is absolutely perfect in stock spec on the 'Ring. It was made for that track, and drives beautifully there. Try it.

I think the F430 will always be a fun car for me.

Such an awesome car to drive, once tamed, eh?

Some other cars I enjoy on the Ring would be any Stratos, the Nardo, and any of the DTM cars. These are all 'daily drivers' for me when I need a Ringfix.

I like to use stock road cars mainly on comfort softs, sports hard for super cars

That's pretty much the way I go. I usually leave the stock tires on, but I make sure my supercars have SHs. Sports soft or RHs for a very highly tuned and maximum-powered (game-wise) exotic - 800+ HP cars generally. I use RHs for the Race cars. RSs provide a little too much grip for realism - though TBH - I have never driven a Race car IRL

If you're looking for a challenge: Stock RUF CTR Yellowbird with zero driver aids. Zero TCS, ABS, everything else, and manual transmission.
