Whish out of these 5 cars, overall would you rate the best... and please provide valid reasons Why.
  • Castrol Tom's Supra GT
  • Raybrig NSX GT
  • Pennzoil NISMO GT-R
  • Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca
  • Corvette C5R

Please Let me know... thx

Sorry, forgot to mention, my choice for one would ahve to be the Castrol Supra, Its got the handling, the power, and most of all... lol, the looks.

I say the Raybrig NSX. Even though not quite as light as the Supra and not as powerful as the Corvette and Viper in stock form, it is mid-engined and can get over 1000hp. Plus there's the bonus of being able to equip a turbocharger. Not only that, but because of it's mid-engine layout, it is much more stable at high power outputs. When I fully modded it and equipped it with super soft tires, I was able to hang with the F1 cars a bit before my tires gave way. For these reasons, I have chosen it as my workhorse in my game: over 1700 miles and counting, well ahead of my second place Viper GTS-R Concept with 197 miles.

I would have to say the C5R. It has good handling and tune the suspension a little and it becomes a really good handling car, it has good power and good acceleration. But I do really like the NSX too.

It depends on the state of tune, but if I had to choose in Arcade Mode I would go for the Viper. Some of the others may be easier and more enjoyable to drive, but I think the Viper is quickest.

The JGTC Supra or NSX...I would personally take the Arta, and Denso variant myself but that base models of these cars I prefer pretty much over anything in the game...well, save the FTO LM.

The C5R and the Viper are a bit better than the JGTC's and they shouldn't really be compared, atleast they wouldnt be compared seriously by anyone in the real world.

So, out of the C5R and the Viper, I will say C5R because it is lower and has slightly better handling IMO. The engine is also less torquey than the Vipers and doesnt mutilate tires as badly.

toughie...
C5R, but the Raybrig is a really close 2nd. the C5R handles like it;s on rails (or Michelin Pilots) at any speed, with almost all racing tires, which it doesn't eat quite as quickly as the Viper does, like 12 said.

If it were for the looks it would be two of them Corvette and Viper....
If it were for the handling than it would be none of them cause i keep racing series with my F1 which I have won...it's pretty easy to handle. And I get bored for making little mistakes and loose series/race.

If it were for the speed than it would again be none of them...Escudo->setup wheelie or Corvette on Test Track, and My F1 on normal tracks, with little customized setup.

By the way my favorite track of all is Seatle for the shining sun and little jumps also it can be driven good forwrads or backwards.

But i guess nobody is interested in favorite tracks.:banghead: Ore anybody is??? :D

In real life the Viper handles alot better, and is alot lower. Actually about the same as the C5. You have to remember that they dont always handle the same in the game as they do in real life (Im posting the obvious again :p).........

In my personal opinion...

...the Castrol Tom's Supra GT feels a little too chunky for my liking. It's a decent car, but it just seems weighted down and sluggish to me.

...the Raybrig NSX GT could easily be the fastest car of the bunch, except that it demands an enormous amount of precison driving at all times. If you lose your focus it'll spin around on you all too readily. I tend to call it a "bratty" car, because if you don't drive it just so then it just basically throws a tantrum.

... Pennzoil NISMO GT-R just feels all wrong. It seems like no matter what this car always has a severe case of AWD tight in/loose out through the corners.

...the Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca doesn't feel quite right to me either. I understand it's got massive torque, but the front wheels don't feel like they're really connecting with the pavement, like the front is too light almost. (I wish GT3 would let you change the weight distribution of the car so I could check that out, but you know what they say... if wishes were horsepower, we'd all have a drag racer. Or something like that. ;) )

... the Corvette C5R is the one that I'm most comfortable with. It acts stubborn in some of the tighter corners, but overall it seems to have a nice blend of power, handling and flexibility on the track. Plus it's also the easiest car to obtain out of the bunch, so that helps as well.

Funny...All JGTC cars are rear wheel drive...

What track?

They all handle different...as everyone has already mentioned...so for me it depends on what track you were going to put me on.

If I have to pick just one out of that group for all the tracks...then I think I'd take the C5R because it fits my "instincts" the best like "Delray Sandusk" so elouquently said. I just feel more in control of that car...with the NSX being my second choice.

J.

:)

Corvette C5R takes the gold. it is fast, has the best handling of them all, and it is the easiest to get.

It can out race the Toyota GT1 and Mazda 787b at Cote' De Azure any day with the right pit strategy

I know, and that's what makes it so confounding. I've tried everything to try and free up the back end so the car will make a clean entry, but it just seems to have a wall magnet in its front bumper. Maybe they couldn't decide on whether to make it handle like the real one or the GT2 one (which was AWD)...

It can our race them when controlled by the AI!!!!!!

I'll wear out anyone with a non-hybrid C5R with the Toyota GT-One Road OR Race car.

They are bad to the bone.

Could you post your tune settings please?:D
