You can download rfactor lite from ther official site. It's like 100-200 mb or something I forget. Check out google. Once you download and install it its ready to be start modding away. You "gotta" get a key for it tho. You can buy one through the site.

But if you had fun with the rallying in gt5 or like rallying. Try out Richard Burns Rally. its fun and unforgiving, sorta like how gt is. I just got a mod RSRBR 2011 and it has a lot of cars. From A russian yugo all the way to the 80s group b monsters. Probably around 20 classes of cars. I just played for 5 hours straight with a 100hp Peugeot and it was awesome. (I couldn't handle group b or even the WRC class!) I would play more but I got work. I GOTTA PAY BILLS MAN! :crazy:

Yep this is why I will not buy a PS4 in the future, Shift 2 Unleashed graphic's is incredible on pc, the modders will fix the bugs and improve realism, and this is only an actual game, not to mention rFactor 2 and GTR3.. which they'll destroy everything when they'll come out. Even rFactor and GTREvo at uber defintions are better than actual console games. And all those mods, add-on cars, tracks, skins, championships... everything a GT5 player is asking for is in pc sim racing. I'm not a Pd fanboy, if they want to keep people on a Sony console they need a huge improvement in GT6, with more content, better organized classes and much more logic. GT5 atm is a mess of everything, and nothing..
 
Because as much as I like it and pains me to say this, it's dying out. No updates, no new versions, no modding permitted and no expandability. :(

Maybe when S3 is released it'll regain some of its former glory, but right now it's slowly dying out.
 
GTR evo. It is an expansion for Race 2007 so you need Race 2007 for sure to get other expansion like GTR evo, STCC and so on ...

GT Legends is a lengendary game lol. 1960-70 cars :)
 
I have Race07, GTR-Evo, STCC2, RR-Addon, GT-Power....

So many different cars, a good few tracks also... Want RaceOn.

An almost crazy leak has happened also confirming WTCC 2010 Simbin game being released by RaceRoom VERY soon. Blatant opening movie to it on youtube lol.

So shal be getting that. Then you have GTR3 which will have the new lizard engine,(Updated physics and graphics) in-house built my simbin, so rFactor cant go robbing anything.

And again, like rFactor, big modding scene.

For pc sim-racing I play and recommend Race 07/STCC/Evo/On (goddammit what to call that series) and GTR2. They are both really solid. I have played rfactor some but it's just a little too home-made-hardcore for me. I want a little more polish.

I agree with this. While LFS has some of the best physics out there, the S2 community is slowly dying.

I have to say though that if you want to try a good PC sim for free, the LFS demo is pretty good. Not many cars to choose from and not many tracks either, but I don't think it really mathers because its free, got very good physics aswell as h-shifter and clutch compatibility.
