Ok…two kinds of responses you'd get from this kind of thread:
1. People telling you, very rightly, that this has been done to death if you searched (threads were locked though, since they no longer served a purpose).
2. People telling you that it varies from person to person, it's all subjective, blah blah blah. (Gets a bit repetitive after 2 or so responses, you'll see)

Both are true, but for sheer popularity, no one here can deny that Praiano's garage is the most popular for online tunes and RKM is somewhere in 2nd for offline and in general.

Yeah i couldn't even tell you why i didn't search!! maybe coz its still early and im trying to work at the same time lol my bad, Thanks for your reply mate, il give Praiano's tunes a go!!

Eh, I'm not the type to get worked up over "useless threads" anyways, so it's all good. Hope you enjoy his work like so many of us here do. 👍

Kicks Onboy for not at least putting the Outlaws in his signature!:lol:

I was "brought up" in this side of the 'Planet, so I know what the standard is for the tuned cars here are, and I've not felt that I've met that standard enough times for me to be proud enough to stick the garage in my signature.

Praiano & RKM, yeah. Adrenaline, Dr. Slump, Harvey Wallbanger also... there are lots of good ones.

JohnnyTunes hands down:bowdown: Taken me a year to pour the foundation so I figure by the time PS4/GT6 comes out I'll be swinging the doors open:cheers:

How could we forget you?! Your shootout cars are quite good…though those S2000s do stick out in my mind. If for the wrong reasons entirely. And imagine if GT6 has a physic change…suddenly, all foundations are gone!

But @OP again, since it's all subjective, I guess it's more "Find the tune which fits your style and stick with that tuner" rather than "Best tuna in the world". Or…you could pick up the spanner and start tuning for your own needs and styles.

Ripper Tuning Garage of course!
/blatant advertising

Seriously though It really depends what car it is and what your driving style is, all the major tuners are very solid though :)

Yeah most of our demo cars are online, but we'll do online tunes on request. Just so your post doesn't give the wrong idea. :p

Also, no love for Clueless Tunes? My boy Krenkme will hook you up with a ballin' tune. :sly:

Eh? I said "In general", didn't I?

Well, Clueless is good for starting off, Krenkme's love for a stable setup means that new drivers should learn to drive well fairly quickly in them.

Onboy already sorted this thread out, so it will probably get locked, but I have to toss in my two cents anyways.

For drifting, I look towards Shmo's tunes. For SSR7, I go to Cardboard Box Tuning (their Esprit V8 tune is my go-to car for SSR7). For circuit, I would recommend what pretty much everyone else said already, RKM and Praiano.

Thanks guys. Now how much do I owe you for saying such nice things? :dopey:

Thanks for the info guys, im grinding out some remote race at work at the mo but i will be testing out RKM & Praiano's tunes a little later!! Does anybody know if Praiano's tunes are any good with a controller, as it states on their page the tunes are for the wheel??

Generally they "should" work. I drive wheel tunes with a DS3 all of the time, no problems. Sometimes they're in need of more delicate steering, but that's about it.

Don't forget the Finns too :)

Ahhh yes, Mad FinnTuner is pretty good too. I love their 512BB tune, that little homicidal maniac. <3

I like Praiano's tunes, RKM, Clueless, Mad Finn, Zed. But it also depends on the car, not all the cars are tuned from every tuner, so sometimes you need to check out a garage not usually visited and you find that the tunes are good and use them aswell. Personally because all cars can have 3 settings I try and find 3 tunes per car, if there are more I buy another car or two. But that is me, I also do some tuning myself.

Although I mainly tune my own cars now with pretty good success, I couldn't have gotten to the point where I'm at now without the help of Praiano's Tunes, Motor City Tunes (motorcityhami) and the host of individuals that I run the TT's with. Really have learned alot from them guys.

Follow the tuner battles. I would say the hot/confident tuners enter the battles. Also read up on tuning so you can adjust a setup to fit your style of driving.

GT7 maybe:drool:

I like to go to the garages post in the stickies, and see what every garage has to offer. But if you're looking for reliability and reputation, then the long established garages is where to start...

...but some times you may find an amazing tune in the last place you look :dopey:

Oh, and for me, the Outlaws, RKM, Praiano, RKM, Mad Finn, Zed, The Cafe.... oh and RKM :dopey:

word, those guys at The Box seem to know a thing or two about a thing or two

We do Touge too, touge is fun :D

Shameless self promotion here but I have finally got a tune posted for my own watering hole tunes. I am working on a few tunes for later posts. Just trying to get my name out there. Btw: MFT is brilliant

I dont have a garage per se, more off a backup for my tunes as i've lost my save data 3 times, once to duping ( my fault ) and twice to data corruption. I've recently started adding tunes again but I think I have 4 up. 3 550PP and 1 600PP. I have 27 cars setup for 550PP, just have to find the time to write the tunes down.
