lol, my mates cousin has a 996, diablo and a 360 but i only have ride in 996

Why do people say things like that? If you branched off all your mates cousins wifes etc etc you'd get every car on the face of the earth!

My friend's girlfriend's father's wife's nephew's cousin's daughter's aunt's son's grandfather's roommate's uncle babysat someone who saw an F40 .... :dunce:

Riden in my friends dads VY SS Commodore Wagon, only 500 made. I like going through windy roads at high speed. :D

Driven
- C6 Z06 (ha work car)
- A 350 powered S-10
- A BMW M5
- Bunch of Classic Cars...but the best was a blown 454 Chevelle SS

Rode in
- A lot.

Best car I've driven: My bros Volvo 850 GLT 2.5 20v, such a nice car and makes such a nice noise. Rarest car I've driven is probably my car an old shape '93 Seat Ibiza, not that rare but far from common... Ok neither of these cars might be pecieved as that great or that rare but hey I've only driven 3 cars in real life!

Rarest cars I've been in: Lotus Sunbeam (Its exhaust was capable of fully illuminating the road behind us when it was purposefully backfired ;) ), Bond Bug (The most attention seeking car ever? quite a few 'adventures' in that one), Opel Monza (My Grandad called it the back to the future car :D) hmm probably some more I've forgotten. Also been in my uncles Westfield when he took it on a track day (Weee sideways!) although I burnt my leg on the exhaust getting out

Honda (not Acura) NSX-T is the rarest car I've driven probably. Ferrari's and Lamborghini's are common enough not to make me turn my head...and an NSX-T with RHD is in America.

Well I drive a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, steering wheel on the left side; This car was only sold for about 9 months only in Europe; Well, there are certainly over 1000 of its kind, but I don't think that there more than maybe 2500 or so...
Aprt from that I've driven an BMW Z1, a Triumph TR6 and a Ford Escort Cosworth ...
Aprt form that... well the rest of the cars were not rare...

You drove a Z1?!

How is it and what's the deal with the doors?

(Just searched) Indeed, what is the deal with the doors? That's freakish, it looks like they retract straight down into the sills or something.
(like here. Also note the amusing use of area rugs instead of floormats.)

TheCracker
Lotus Exige 240R - one of 50 (only about 5 made so far)
I thought they made all the 240Rs and sold them.
Those little go-kart looking (and awesome cars) are still for sale? :)

The family of a good friend owns the Z1 ( well I live in BMW country here, 45 miles away from Munich ) and yeah the doors just go down vertically.... It's a nice car, fun to drive, they have a new engine inside the car, more powerful than the stock one; It's especially fun to drive through the city with the doors down... special feeling, hard to describe....

Excellent choice, I love this car! So great and fun to drive. Love the wood shifter too! But I broke a rocker arm on mine and haven't fixed it yet :ouch:

Again, a friend of mine is the owner; They also have two BMW 2002... oldtimers are nice cars and the sound of the Triumph is really unique and loud :sly: ....

I'm not counting cars I've driven in (that's just silly)... only cars I've actually driven. That's what REALLY counts. :sly:

None of these cars are in any particular order:

2005 Chevrolet Corvette convertible w/ 4-speed auto.

2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS

2005 Saturn ION REDLINE

2005 Mercedes-Benz E320

2002 Acura 3.5RL <<< questionable because the TL was better

2005 Saab 9-5 Sportwagon (Aero equivalent -- i.e. 250 horsepower)

2001 Audi A6 2.7T w/ 5-speed auto.

2005 Acura TL w/ 5-speed auto.

1996 Volvo 850 Turbo wagon :) << soon to be daily driver :D

...that's it I guess. These are the best cars I've ever driven.

Everything else was/is "average" -- nothing stands out about the other cars I've driven.

If I had to put in order of favorites it would be:

1. 850 Turbo wagon
2. 9-5 Sportwagon
3. Corvette
4. A6 2.7T
5. ION Redline
6. TL
7. Monte Carlo SS
8. E320
9. 3.5RL

Well mine has an exhaust leak too, it's quite a beast

The Best car I've ridden in is :drumroll: a Pontiac Grand Prix V6 Supercharged! :crickets: I've led a boring life...
If it wasn't for this car, my list would be just as bad. Early 70's Skyline GT-R. It looked liked this one:

 Those old skylines are soooo bad***! Where did you get a ride in one?!
When I was a kid, growing up in Japan. Sadly(actually, it's pretty funny), I was really young and thought it was old piece of crap beater. I probably would've picked Nissan Pulsar or Celica over the GT-R.
