I see what you're saying, but the "rear end" of a car isn't limited to the rear panel. It includes the rear fenders and often the rear of the cabin. The C2 Corvette is a good example of this.

That GT40 still does not have a very good rear end.

I believe if Mercedes actually increase the rear width like the Continental GT or give a C63 Blacks series rear arch but a more subtle design, it would look really great.

I just love this rear end! Always liked the look of the 350z from the back, that little bit of camber and poke makes it look amazing.
