Best Roadster?

I'm wondering which car is fastest/best for the Spider and Roadster Cup in Pro. I tried once with my ~430+ HP MB SLK230 but it was very though. I don't feel like buying the Shelby Cobra since you get it when you win the cup....

I used the RUF 3400S. You can tune it to about 600HP, which is more than enough. Just grab a set of the harder slicks and away you go.

I attempted this first with the TVR Griffith fully modded. Couldn't keep the rear of the car in it's place. Tried the SLK 230 and had a rough go at it. Jumped into the RUF 3400S and it was a breeze.

Although PD screws you in the Cote D'azur race by placing a Motor Sport Elise in the line-up. Not allowed according to the rules, but the AI has a good run with it. Go figure.

if you are going to waste your money for this race and buy a ruf, don't buy the 3400s buy the rgt. tuned to 1073 horsepower it accelerates like mad and will win any race you put it in

nope, hes doing the spider/roadster. only the 3400s can be used, RGT is not an option. anyways, the 3400s is a pretty neat car, and it blows away the competition in spider/roadster. :cheeburga

Yes, you cannot buy the RGT for this cup.

I also used the 3400s, made it purely easy. You can try in the others (S2000, Cobra, Griffith, etc.), but it will be quite a bit harder.

I used an S2000. But that's because I love S2000's.

I used a Spoon S2000 and my griffith 500 and blew them all away

Mugen S2000 and had a hard time but did win.
Ruf 3400s and had no troble at all.

the boxster is best, i mean the RUF 3400S, that is a great roadster. well worth having and tuning.

Yeah there seems to be several glitches associated with this championship, because the computer can also use the Tommy Kaira ZZ-S, which isn't on the list of cars permitted. Its too bad, because I was looking forward to using that car. Ended up using the Spoon S2000 instead.

I would've loved to use the ZZ-S too... it's a wonderful car, and I can get better times in it than the Lotus Elise.

The Elise should be avail, it qualifies as a spider.
IMO the S2000 or the Ruf 3400 is the ticket for this series.
I wish the Cobra I won handled better.

The Griffith destroyed the competition for me. I hadn't even used the 3400S outside of the occasional arcade run, but now that I've got one I can see where it'd be a good contender too.
