Best Seasonal So FAR....

In my little opinion......
I think the Lambo Seasonal is the best seasonal (apart from the Ferrari)
PD has done.
I think the cars are so well matched with the power/weight.
Each one of the Lambo's is class to drive, i didnt soup them up in anyway just added Sports Softs. If you crash and burn a couple of times you may kiss the race goodbye ! Thats what i like, some competition.
Anyway, well done again PD keep them coming 👍
 
dont agree.. kicked their asses with my super veloce.
loved the f1-event though!!!
 
In my opinion, if it wasn't for the Toscana track, I would not have liked these Seasonals at all. That track, however, has been some of the most fun I've had playing GT5, and is what makes them.
 
Well so far I had some good fun from almost all the seasonals, except may be the truck races. And even then, the Nordschleife and Mt. Aso tracks could compensate.

Love the Lambo seasonal. Frantic with my Murcelago SV, really challenging at night with all aids off.
 
lambo mainly because of the timechanging toscana track
 
I loved the Japanese 80's race, but I'm a massive fan of JDM cars, so I'm a bit biased in my opinion.
 
The F1 was the best IMO
 
I didn't like them. I love how lamborghini's look and sound, but i hate the way they drive. The Muira is okay to drive, but it is still prettier to look at then it is good to drive, and it isn't really fast enough. I hated the track selection for the cars, the first track.. whatever it is called with the big loop is just woeful. I like Nürburgring GP, but when i saw that it was the configuration that excluded the hairpin i was like "whaaat? That is the best part of the track??!". That ruined it for me really, and i haven't bothered with the rest. The tracks let me down and so did the cars. The best i can think of.. well the first one. Which were really hard. Just lovely.
 
The very first one was the best set, more of a challenge and nice payout too. New ones are no challenge and relatively small payout, although I will admit the challenge can be as tough or easy as you want to make it.

No margin for error there, that's for sure. The Miura is so much fun to drive.
 
I've enjoyed the classic car seasonal the most so far. Found some of my favorite cars to drive doing that one.
 
The best one is Ferrari. This Lambo one was bad because it made me go buy a 15M Muria only to find its not that fast. I want my money back! :)
 
I am not good with the Gallardo. All I could do was understeer, understeer and understeer. I understand this is indicitive of how I drive and not the car, and I would occassionally get it right, but you have to drive that car a lot differently than I normally drive. Given that my favorite cars are low powered hot hatches and FR less around 300hp, it was difficult to adapt. So my gripe with the Lambo event is track selection; Madrid - why put this track in any event? Ever?

I liked the FR events the most. My tuned NC Roadster had a heck of a time keeping up.
 
I found the Lambourghini seasonals to be really fun. I think the challenge was a lot better than the other seasonals. I really enjoyed this one as well as the first ones. The one with the GTR that was a superchallenge. I like the restrictions because it forces you to find the right tune or step up your driving skills. :)
 
This seasonal is a hoot, seems like the AI drivers actually drive as opposed to just lap like moving chicanes! Best one yet (I hated the truck one mainly because I hate the trucks!)
 
yes it's awesome, love it!!!

i hated the previous seasonal, but the lambo seasonal is epic, thinking on buying all lambos too play it.
 
Keep stock suspension on the Lambos, enjoy.
 
I completed bspec endurance and got the Ferrari 2007 so decided to do the seasonal event...best races ever. Then when I tried the Lamborghini, it was like....man this is so slow. The Ferrari probably ruined all the other races for me. I hope they got more races using that car.
 
IMHO the first 2-3 weekly seasonal events were quite funny.

And challenging.

Tuning that lightweight hybrid "thing" (i dont't remember the car name, do you?) and driving it down Grand Valley East, only one gear and no help from hearing the engine revs... it's been an interesting experience.
 
Have done the Lambo seasonals with a stock Countach Anniversary so far... managed to finish in 2nd, 6th, 5th, last:O, and 1st in that order. Was heaps of fun, and still have the original Countach, the Murcielago, and the Gallardo to use yet :D
 
The Lamborghini seasonals are truly a blast, especially the Toscana race. I'm going to take each of my Lamborghinies through that race before they expire. :D
 
The Lambo is pretty good, but the first ones with restriction were the best, to get first you really need to drive close to perfect on some of them. I love the GTR one, I fiddled with the setting until I managed to gold it. Still having problems with the RX7 one under the original restriction thought...
 
Lambos better than pick-ups? Never!

I'm a fan of the oddball seasonals myself... the iMIEV, the Schwimwagen at the Cape Ring (best.race.ever) and Pick-ups at the Nurb are some of the best GT races I've ever driven.
 
I agree, mainly because I felt this race has something many of the others with AI don't--a challenge. Sure you can sup up a mercealago (sp?) and win most races quite easily, but I did most these with a tuned Gallardo and passing from 2nd to 1st was usually really tight and within the last lap or lap and a half. On the Toscana track even the superbeast mercealago had trouble (mainly because I was driving blind half the race).

But, I would actually say this race had a decent payout and was--gasp--fun.
 
I really liked the 80's Japanese Challenge. I dunno, it just rocked for me. Challenging to a point, but still fun. The credits weren't too bad either.
