Best Songs from Soundtrack?

Them Crooked Vultures - Scumbag Blues
Hot Hot Heat - Implosionatic
 
From GT5 soundtrack? I normally just listen to boring classic music from the 1700 and 1800's, jazz or heavy metal, but I'm quite tolerant with music of other genres. I find these two very pleasing:

Words - Goose
Patterns - Band of Skulls

...and why not, 5oul on Display (not a big fan of Daiki Kasho, but the song fits the game very well; especially in the intro).

Until today I'm actually using the in-game soundtrack. I'm bored of my own music.

Plus a bunch of the jazz songs like Night Birds and Mighty Engine and I also love a lot of the lounge songs they have like GT-FORCE, Back 2U etc. and lot of the bossanova songs like Wind Navigator are some of my favorites. :3 A lot as you can see.
 
Penelope Pitstop? i really don't know the artist been while since i've browsed through the library, but there is quite a few good ones... Oh and don't forget Planetary, (Go!)

What I actually listen to as I play is all of the songs in the jazz and bossa nova genres. :sly:
 
I was actually disappointed with the soundtrack, one of my larger complaints about the game.

I'd rather have something like the Van Halen/STP/Garbage stuff from the previous title, but I guess that's showing my age. Hopefully Sony can throw some weight into a better soundtrack for 6.

I do agree with this. Although I LOVE some of the songs that this game has for the simple reason that some of them come from my favourite bands the soundtrack from GT4 was far better. It contained Jet, Van Halen, Papa Roach, ETC.

Besides, I use custom BGM so I have all the songs I like from other games, including GT4.
 
I thought I read that the custom soundtrack was messing up people's game saves/gameplay somewhere, I guess not?
 
Good enough for me. I normally just listen to the radio anyway, not worth the time for me to port all my music on there :lol:.

Oh well. If I get bored of the music there I just turn my Xbox and stream the music from my PC and make the output on my sound system the Xbox while the tv gives me the car sounds from GT.
 
The car sounds would be nice, but I don't really like them (or need them, since I prefer automatic cars and therefore don't need to hear revs).

I've had custom sountrack since release date until yesterday. I've went through two PS3's on that time but I've never found any problems regarding my game save file.
 
Daiki Kasho - Day to Live is one of my favorites. Remember before it got added to the in-game Soundtrack, looking EVERYWHERE for it. 👍

This is the only song I hunted down from the track list and disabled because I hate this noise so hardcore. It sounds like a plague of cyborg locusts crossed with the sound of cats being run over with a steamroller. It's just shrill noise. The first couple times I heard it, I thought my PS3 was doing something awful like chewing up the game disc or something like that. I didn't know that ungodly noise was intentional.
 
I LOVE Drive on coins - Gonno, It's maybe just because I really like Drum and Bass songs :indiff:

I honestly didn't think people have a problem with the soundtrack this is new for me.

Dream World is my favorite track so far.

As for ther Race Menu BGM the one song with the kids is cool to me it's too catchy and I love it lol.
