The Honda S2000 sounds CRAZYYYYY... You hear the VTEC perfectly (doesnt sound so real but you hear with when you arrive at the kicking RPM).

Hardly any of the Skylines sound realistic, especially the R32, R33 and R34's. The R32 GTS-t is by far the most unrealistic sounding skyline, in fact it is probably the most unrealistic sounding car in the entire game! I have a Skyline GTS-4 in real life (shares the same engine as the GTS-t) and it sounds NOTHING like it does in GT4, not even a hint of the same sound even with every muffler type. 👎

Anywho, with my little rant over;

I really like the sound of the later model Impreza's (well all of them, but the later ones look better which makes me like the sound more ;)) as they sound realistic - nice and growly. The Shelby Cobra sounds nice as do a few other cars i can't think of.

But the sounds can still do with a lot of improving to make them realistic/better.

Mazda's rotaries.. because they sound like motorbikes even when stock. honda's do that only when tuned up ;)

I was somewhat disappointed in the sound of the Speed 12 ( I Loved it in GT2) , although it might be , and forgive me if I'm wrong , that it's a Cerbera Speed 12 00' in GT4 but "just" a Speed 12 99' in GT2? As for my favourite sounds of GT4 , I'd say the Aston Martin Vanquish I had for a few weeks was quite nice , and the Viper GTS-R ORECA and GTSR Concept that I've got are quite nice too:)

Yeah, it's a different car - the one in GT2 is a concept model, never made, the GT4 version is renamed the Cerbera Speed 12 and it's the one that was actually made.

Here's something I'd like to add - Amuse S2000 GT-1 - The best engine I have heard!
The growl you can get in the low range mixed with the top-end scream is amazing, it sounds like a touring car and an NA racer at the same time :D

The 3.2 litre Audi engines sounds really nice. And the Alfa GT sound pretty cool in high rpm´s too. Other than that, i´ll pick the BMW M3 GTR. That thing is simply evil!

I agree with that. I have to check out the game so I can decide on my favorite though. The M3 GTR Road Car is soooo much fun to drive and listen to. I did the 4Hrs of Nurburgring with that car stock and oohhhh what fun...

Maybe the Dodge Charger Superbee '71 is one of the best
V8's???
But my fave is definately the Spoon S2000. One screamer of a car.👍 👍
