Hi guys ZR1fan here again.. see i purchased a ton of NSXs recently (including a 1993, 1995, 1999 and 2001 that all ended up being the EXACT same Shallot Green) and it makes me wonder which you guys think is the best street NSX of the bunch? Post away

I have every NSX in the game, but I've only driven a few of them so far.

The best one I've driven to date was the NSX-R Concept 01.

It's handling is absolutely lovely... though for my tates it's a bit too grippy on sports hard and is more fun on comfort softs.

The later NSX's with 6 speed boxes are a lot nicer than the 5 speed early cars IMO... the extra gear compensates for a lack of torque compared to more modern machinery.

My favorite is the NSX Type S Zero '97, though owning it and the NSX-R Concept '01 brings me to the conclusion that the NSX-R would probably be slightly faster in an all-out brawl.

I haven't driven the NSX-R production car other than in the licences, so I can't comment on it.

The NSX-R Concept '01 is nice but can't compare to the LM Road Car of course. The Concept '01 has the same downforce as a normal NSX right? The LM Road Car has a lot more, it corners way quicker than any production car and it can be tuned to 670 HP compared to 460 HP on the Concept '01. Even if you don't add a turbo on the LM Road Car you have 540 HP.

I rarly didn't enjoy the one that I drove, but it only had 5 gears. I know this car has a huge following.

Can we give more feedback into why you think each recommendation should be more valid than others? We need reasons :) also state which tyre you use.

All have similar power output and have just as responsive & fun to drive handling as the other. Reason for my choice of 92 Type R; lightest chassis.
Though, I'm kinda bummed that none of the NSX's take forced induction.

I want the NSX-R concept 01, havent seen it in UCD yet. To bad they arent that fast on the straight line. A Nissan 200sx beats the NSX on straight line :)

In absolute lap times, the LM Road car is certainly king... and it does handle very, very well. But the 'proper' road NSX's are just more fun to drive (as long as you keep the tyre compounds sensible).

A boggo NSX-R Concept 01, on comfort softs (maybe sports hards if you have a DS3) at the 'Ring feels so sweet... the balance and throttle adjustability is just perfect.

It has a huge following in real life. I almost bought an NA1 NSX and it was hands-down the best car I've ever driven. It made my STI feel like a minivan. In fact, both of my cars are faster than an NSX in nearly every way, and the NSX is still the best IMO.

Unfortunately, you do not get the proper feel of driving an NSX, or any car for that matter, in GT.

I looked at a few nsx's in real life. I was close to buyin one but got my cts-v. But I love the nsx without a doubt. Even a clean 1991 nsx will hold it's value. Around 20k. Aluminum body panels get me excited.

My choice in game is the type R. But the concept is purty.

Tried the NSX Type R '02 and while it was good i didn't think it was that special. After a while i started to tweak the suspension and notice that the default was 0 degree camber so added some and it became one of the best cars i've driven in the game.

Can't really understand the default camber values PD uses as i'm sure no sports car leaves the factory with 0 camber... :dunce:

Not as silly as every car in the game coming with +0.20 of rear toe

Most road cars don't have any camber (or have very little) as standard... though they may aquire camber as the suspension moves through it's stroke.

I should have mentioned before, IMO both in real life and in GT, the older 5-spd NSXs have horribly-long gearing. It's not nearly as obvious in real life because of how extraordinary they are to drive, but it is VERY obvious in GT.

I notice that with my 95 NSX.. which is the only 5 speed NSX i really drive

Yeah the second gear especially is really frustrating to me, though in real life a 6 speed swap will fix the problem.

Oh and I like the 1996-2001 NSX's, best. With the 3.2 litre 6 Speed engine and the pop-up lights.

I've never liked the fixed headlights on a stock body NSX, it make the car look narrow to me. Though this (front) (rear) one is awesome since it has a wide body.

There used to be an orange NSX near where I live that had a JGTC/Super GT bodykit fitted to it. It looked very similar to the NSX LM Road Car. Sadly I haven't got any pictures :(
