i just got an xmod car, got the supra kit, stage2 motor, suspension, and drift wheels, but i cant find anywhere that i can get traction enough to build up the speed to drift, havnt tried cement yet tho, but i imagine that would tear up the tires?

I've got the Nissan 350 Z, though I bought a Mustang SVT body for it.
with the slightly shortened wheelbase I have found the hardwood floors in my house are awesome for getting a little drift going.
I have yet to take the thing over to the gymnasium at the community center. But it is on my "to do" list.

It doesn't tear up the tires. I run mine outside all the time. I can drift on the road with mine. But the drifts aren't that good. I'll get some pics later. But it you want to drift I'd recommend not having the 4wd. and you also if you get the rechargable batteries its alot faster. If you can find some lithium batteries they'll make it insane.

waked hardwood is better somtimes, especially for the whole sliding part. get the tracks if neccesary. just dont crash. it chips your paint. rickjames sells parts and does paint jobs for xmods

without awd ur just gonna spin but maybe if u push the batt's weight towards the front to gave sum traction on front wheels and dont gun it it just might work

on the Z, corvette, and NSX, you cant shift the wieght, but my current Z set up can drift on pavement decently.

and has virtually destroyed understeer. im still reowrking the NSX though

The dirfts aren't real tight or it does slide out. I just don't recommend the 4wd because mine runs nearly twice as long as my brothers and his is 4wd. Everything else is the same exepct iv'e got those metal bearings.
