I would say that dREAM00 & SmokenRubber are some of the best tuners I have had the pleasure of working with. They both work dilligently and are always posting times that stump fellow tuners.

See what I've learned there are no best tuners indy wise 88 percent of the time it comes down on that tree. I've personally layed out several of people on a certain "big team" with a crappy base tune. I ate all their vettes up, but now the famous guys online I heared are getting treed by noobs now. I personally nominate everyone including myself a best tuner . Many may ask why and I simply say this to have this much love for a game that doesn't love us back. It takes heart and sacrifice for that.
 
I am a noob and all i look for online is big names! I wont say but this one guy seems to run from the room everytime he see's my psn... Figure if he dont race me tonight ill put him on blast! I suck at tuning, only reason i win is my tree. :rolleyes:

Best Tuner - Someone who is good at offline drag tuning. Knows the ins and outs of transmission and suspension.

Best Dragger - Someone who is fast online. Fast tree, different launching techniques, relies less on their tune to win, than a "Best Tuner".

That is sort of what I am thinking of.
