I am polling GTP users to see what is the best Vision Gran Turismo concept so far. You have multiple choices for this thread. The possible responses will change as new VGTs are introduced to the game.

My opinion: Divided between Mitsubishi and Mercedes Race Car. Will select an option once I try out the Mazda tomorrow.

I'm tied between the Toyota, Subaru, AND the all new Mazda. Chaparral is fun and all, just difficult to handle.

I still like the Mercedes and BMW a lot because they were among the first, but this new age of VGTs with good sounds make it hard to choose.

Favorite: BMW for being the most believable car of the bunch. Mercedes a very close second.

I quite like the Mazda LM55 Vision GT, its styling is probably a 2020's Le Mans-based hypercar, it's got an extremely powerful Skyactiv engine and it's fast! Fast as 🤬!!!

The handling is tight and has some grip, but not as much as the Mercedes AMG Vision GT and the Toyota FT-1 Vision GT, and can spin out on SSRX if you turn too wide, like some of the other cars.

Wheras the other VGT cars were based on designs of previous cars, like the LM55 being based on the 787B, and the Volkswagen just looking like an uninteresting Volkswagen, the Chaparral was an entirely new design which still stayed true to Chaparral's name of unique, over-the-top racing.

The mazda isnt based on the 787b. It just rekindles the spirit of winning Le Mans like it. Its based on a future lmp1 car. Which is my favorite type of racer, so the Mazda is of course my favorite vgt. For 'road cars', I like the Nissan 2020 and Aston Martin.

Isn't this already a thread?

I love the Mazda, the only one of them I will actually use. That being said, I did use the Mercedes street version for a short period of time. It made mincemeat out of the rainmasters, and the Willow Spring and Ascari super events. Then it got boring.

The Mazda is a blast to drive, I can't stop raving about how good it is in all aspects: sound, looks, handling, it's just amazing.

The Chaparral, however, I'm very disappointed in how it drives. Utter trash. But hey, at least it looks like an absolute menace!

They made it much, much better with last night's update

I was gonna say Merc VGT since I won loads of (offline) races with it, but then PDI went and fixed Chappy 2X's DS3 bug. Now it's my second fav thing in life.

It's not entirely based on the 787B, however it is somewhat reminiscent of it. Should've elaborated more.

I like the Infinit Concept VGT quite a lot. It's nice to drive, and since it has more weight in the back it's also quite nice to drift with it. For the "race" VGT's, I like the Mazda and BMW the most. Both have great speed, easy handling and a looot of grip.

While the BMW had exactly the same characteristics I like the Mazda for - its strongly utilitarian nature even while 'coming from the future' - the Mazda wins on sheer good looks for a car in its class.
As for its utilitarian nature - this car doesn't feel like a VGT.
It feels like the next logical step.
It feels right at home with the rest of the workhorses in the stables, and yet with thoroughbred lines all too familiar, and that tell us that it is a real champion of tomorrow brought back to the present for us to enjoy.
Well done, Mazda.
Kodo!
You have caught the soul of motion in those lines and in that performance, and shown that informed imagination is what brings about real progress.
👍

The mazda for me, without a doubt. Ferocious sound, very good handling and it's freaking fast.

Loving the Mazda and Subaru VGT at moment XD

Totally forgot about that. I thought I had not checked that there were multiple choices, and I am using the slowest computer ever.
And the "Change your vote" option is also not there despite you saying you can change your vote. :) 👍

Best road-going VGT? Volkswagen.

Best VGT race car? Toyota.

BMW gets an honourable mention, I'm generally a fan of VGTs based on road cars.

It would have been a hard choice before this week but the Mazda raised the bar a bit.

Of all the Vision cars appeared so far, my three favorites are the mid-engined Aston, the bonkers Chaparral and the stunning Mazda.

Mazda, Nissan, and Chaparral. In that order.
