On my way to having all of the cars, turns out I'm missing 5. Bummer. But according to my mygranturismo.net list, I have them all. Does anyone have any advice on quickly comparing the full list?

The GTP list is complete to the start of the GT Academy prizes. I might update it later today to include the GT Academy prizes. It'll contain the five cars you think you're missing.
There are no 5 missing cars on mygranturismo.net. The DB is up-to-date there for a simple reason: when it happen that a car is missing during a few hours (after game update or recent PSP cars introduction to OCD that have the bad habits to happen @5am where i live), i always receive emails from some of the thousands of users to warn me.
It would be interesting to understand why you think you're missing some cars, or if you don't have a filter activated somewhere that hide some DLC cars. Maybe you already found answer since your post.
