I was racing online at monza yesterday with a Calsonic GT-R 08 (503hp/1100kg), and had a hard time with understeering at braking for both chicanes.
My car is blindingly fast, with lap times in the 1:43 but I know I'm losing about .5 sec while entering the chicanes.
This morning, I tried to cure this understeer in corner entry by moving the brake balance and altering some suspension settings, but It actually made the car worse, with laps in the 1:44 area...
Please note that this understeer happens only while hard braking for the chicanes, and the car feels excellent anywhere else.
I read somewhere that a great way to cure understeer during corner entry was by altering the LSD settings, but that's an area Im not very familiar with...my current LSD settings are 8/18/5 - maybe that's too conservative for monza?
What can I do to improve corner entry without ruining the car's overall balance?
