.....softens the glue and creates a non stick surface on the window so when you rub the sticky stuff that comes off it cant stick to the rest of the window. plus it feels nice and cold and evaporates when done so no clean up!
Sounds stupid but sometime if you use some kinda tape you can for the lack of a better word "dab" it and the tape will suck up the adhesive. Granted I've never tried it in something like your case but for smaller stuff say getting the stupid Gamestop/EB games ****ty stickers off the case it works good.
Next time I'd recommend getting the kind of tint that's removeable or paying a good company to tint them for you.
It's actually used to wipe cars down before painting, but I've found it to work exceptionally well on stickers. It's approximately $30 gallon, but if you're going to be doing any painting of parts or cleaning of tar off of your car, it's well worth it. 👍
EDIT: It is essentially paint thinner, but not as harsh of a solution.
