As the title says really, i want to know what the best way to run the engine in/break in and increase the power being made. i use to get bob to do laps on the Indy track but that no longer works, online doesn't seem to do much either anymore :( whats the best way then ?

I tried a search but did'nt get me no where so thought id ask:dopey:

I personally do an endurance race in B-spec with the car I want to break-in. By the time the race is over, the car has gained full power.

Just drive it offline or online, but you must be in a race and finnish the race online for miles/kilometres to log.

30 laps at daytona oval online always works for me

So, if you go into practice mode and set it to 30 laps on this track, it will generally / always break in a new car? Is there a set amount of kms that a car needs before it is fully broken in? Or is it different for every car?

I've never done it in practice mode. Have done it in online lounges with friends. You could do it eitherway though as long as you race, not free run.

Around 300 km is the break in distance of all the cars i have observed.
The Grand valley 300km or the Laguna seca 200 miles B-spec endurance races is what i use.

I go online and find a room thats cool . No little kids smashing into you with the X1. try to use a long track that way you won't get bored. Nurburgring is good because it gives you a chance to go through the gears and top it out in the end. Go around as much as you can stand.

Buy car, oil change, if zero miles car, run 4 races at Indy in the B-Spec Dream Car Championship. Each race is 22 laps (55 miles per race) and you can break in any type of car in this race.

Then, one more oil change and the car will be at max hp.
