Best wheel setup for GT5

So after realizing that the Red bull challenge is impossible (or nearly impossible) to gold with a DS3, im gonna buy a wheel.

What wheel to buy?

Price is not very important as the USD has been trashed with respect to my home currency, so unless we are talking extreme stuff, its going to be cheap anyway.

Well, I wouldn't say it's impossible with the DS3, as I was able to do it using the DS3.
 
For me

1. Thrustmaster T500 - best wheel I've used so far
2. Logitech G27 - best bang for your buck
3. Fanatec GT3 - better wheel than the G27 but it'll cost you

That's really top-end though, and to be completely honest I can't see anything above a DFGT or Fanatec Carrera being worth it if you're only playing GT5. For actual sim racers like on the PC, yeah more precision is always better, but using a $500+ wheel for GT5's forgiving physics is like using a .50 cal rifle for duck hunting.

Said that, the Fanatec GT3 is an unbelievable deal. Throw in the CSPs and you have the best setup in any price range up to ~$550.
