Hello all

I've just bought GT4 recently and was a bit taken back by the spread out view of all the races. What I want to know is what is the overall best order to take in completing GT4. For example in GT3 you could follow through beginner, pro etc.

Just a bit of backgroung whilst I'm here...I bought the first PS because of GT I thought it was brilliant and have been a fan ever since. I wouldn't call myself 'hardcore' i supposed I don't have that much time for that with family etc.
Anyway, I don't get much time to play and when I do I'd rather go onto the races that matter. I've transferred 100,000cr from GT3 and have been racing mostly in the Nismo 270. Can't wait to buy the Yellowbird...I loved it in GT2.

Thanks in advance for your guidance and I know there aren't any hard and fast rules to this.

It all depends on how you like to race, or the types of races you like. But the fastest I've found is to finish all of the beginner, professional & extreme races first, then take all of the prize cars and race the manufacturers' races, then everything else. But that's just me.

Good luck, and welcome to GTP. :) 👍

Well, you have to complete "professional" to unlock the "expert" hall.. so the obvious choice would be -

- Beginner to relearn the basics and get used to the game
- Regional races
- Pro to get used to faster cars
- Extreme hall (- formula GT, probably)

It's all very loose though, and doable in any order. Check the prize car lists and race endurances, hall races and brand specific events to get cars you can then use etc.

This thread might be interesting (be sure to visit the earlier threads in the series as linked up top there) ;)

Firstly I would start a new save and not transfer licences or credits - you just know you won't respect yourself in the morning.

Then I would suggest that you get a second hand car and enter all the races you can with it - an old evo will get you into at least half a dozen different series. It is also good for special conditions halls. Likewise RX7 or whatever - just browse through the shop and see what you want.

The best advice I heard re the special conditions halls (I think from Famine) was to do each one one at a time and do the easy/med/hard straight through (i.e. don't go thru and do all the easys then all the mediums, etc.).
