Hey guys been a LONG while since I've been on the forums, so I figured I would share some old photos I took of my friend's Satin White Pearl Subaru BRZ Limited 6AT. He got it on (IIRC) May 20th? Idk, somewhere +/- 7 days from there. I met up with him at a brick supply company in my town and got shootin. Then we went to the local car guy hang out for some food and a few more photos. I filled up my 8GB SDHC and only came out with a few photo's so here ya go, enjoy!

Is the front Subaru emblem carbon fiber or does it just give off that look? It looks amazing, your photography is superb.

Why is it an automatic? Bleh.

Stay away from vignetting things just to do that, it doesn't often add much to an image I feel, and often results in some what awkward framing and cropping.

EDIT: Looking at the exif on the first image:

Exposure 0.001 sec (1/2000)
Aperture f/6.3
Focal Length 55 mm
ISO Speed 1600

Are you shooting auto?

Says manual, so why ISO 1600 in daylight?

^Maybe Auto Iso?

some nice pics, but driving in flip flops is a no go ;)

Heavens - that's mighty good for 1600 ISO, mine would be grainy as all get out at 1600. What camera do you use?

Thanks everyone! I know the ISO settings were high but I'm not a pro so I didn't think to lower them and change the FStop and exposure time and all that jazz. But everything was shot in manual and using manual focus. I did use the auto stabilizer though. The camera was a Canon EOS REBEL T3i.

I actually got so see one today at the local Subaru dealership while I was getting my Legacy serviced. It was also pearl white, but 6spd MT. I thought about talking to them about a trade in with my Legacy but my wife would kill me! The BRZ looks really fun and responsive to drive. It really seems to be more Toyota than Subaru, but who cares, it looks like a blast to drive!

Nice shots!

I heard the wrx version will be turbo charged...

I just read in C&D that Subaru has no plans of turbo charging this motor, claiming there isn't room. In looking that the engine compartment, I would disagree, but.....

It would make sense to have a turbo model that could wear the STI badge or even for the Limited version.

Someone told me that about a week ago... I wasn't sure about it... That kind of sucks though... But oh well... When i see one at the dealership i might go test drive one just to do it... Seems like a fun car
