Well that's certainly not the case in GT3, fully-tuned Escudo Pikes Peak has the highest bhp and the highest (non wheelie trick top speed

A lot of it has to do with how you set up your gear ratios though, power being nothing without control and all that.

As far as I can remember (been so long since I raced the damn thing ) the Escudo comes with a full racing spec transmission. Basically, if you're looking for out and out top speed (say around the test course), set the gear ratios wide - the wider they are set, the higher the spped it will attain before hitting the limiter. Then there's the wheelie trick which you'll find out how to perform if you do a search on this site.

I have broken 300 without the wheelie trick in the Escudo. I did that a year before I found this forum and found out about the wheelie trick... after all when you hit 280 how can you not try for 300
