Is there anyone with a capture card or maybe just watching who can post what ever they find GT wise on here? That is IF they reveal new info. There have been word of rain footage being shown.

I personally will be at school so doing this myself will be impossible.

Any takers?
 
I can't help you but perhaps this should be the discussion thread if it's ok with others and if you can rename the topic.
 
This could've been just posted in the discussion thread, without deserving it's own, but thanks for the effort. In any case, I will not be capturing it (rather watching it live on g4tv's website), but I'm sure you'll be able to catch it later on a ps3 section of any gaming site or finding it on YouTube.

Edit: ohhh you two beat me lol.

No there hasn't.

What there has been is speculation in which Sony are going to premiere a Europe-centric trailer intended for European audiences at an American event; and at an event which isn't even for gamers, but for developers.

This is one conference where there just shouldn't even be any expectation of GT5 being shown. It's not going to happen.
 
The expectations and hype that are created here and based on almost nothing but hope, are ludicrous. Just because it is a game show, doesn't mean that it will revolve around GT5 nor does it mean GT5 has to be part of it. It would be great if it was, but sony has other things they need to address first. It will most likely center around the motion controller, Kaz himself said the motion controller will maybe work with GT5 and if it does, it would only be used to navigate menus.
 
Tisk Tisk, are there no optimists left? We aren't even at the original Japanese release date yet.

It still stands to reason that the world out side of Japan will get the game the very day PD originally intended for us. I know they never gave a public date for the rest of the world, but if they come out with a global launch some time this summer, or early fall, that falls right in line with how long we were to wait anyways.

Lets wait and see. I think it's reasonable to wait until March 31st, before we start actually freaking out about not having a release date.

Yeah, gives me a nice laugh. I think many will be disappointed, but a simple footage is good for me any day. Unlike some people and their reaction to the GOWIII one...

Does anyone want to be sitting in their cockpit waving a glow in the dark ping pong ball on a stick around? If it's in then it must be for more than just navigating menus, I don't mean for gameplay but for something else. Unless sony are just forcing it in there.
 
That's what Kaz said about the motion controller and how it might be implemented into gt5.

GT5 will be released whenever GT5 is supposed to be released. No sooner, and we'll get news and info whenever the over lords see it fit to give us news and info on the game, not much we can do but sit and wait patiently.

"Due to budget and scheduling issues we have decided to put the Gran Turismo series on an indefinite hiatus, we hope to continue the franchise sometime down the road however it is unknown when that time will be"


What I just said is completely 100% not true

Even when there is great news, once it wears off and everyone goes over it again again the fallout starts, for the next couple weeks after that it is best to stay away...
 
We are no more than crackheads in the world of Gran Turismo. Did you see us analyze the **** out of the GOW III video? Every scene was dissected, marked, circled, preciously calculated. We take what we get and savor every little bit of, even it's the tiniest fix.

I love us for that. <3
