biggest mistakes

haha i've done a couple stupid things while playing GT, for instances i saved up for a NSX right when i started playing and bought it decided it sucked and sold it and saved before i coudl go back before i bought it.
 
Wow, pretty retarded of you there. JK JK. My bigegst mistake was thinking I could actually win those enduro races with a stock Supra the day i got the game. Wow, was I in for a surprise. They raped me! (i lost)
 
oh yea another little thing is that i forgot to change my oil before an enduro race and it knocked my horsepower down quite a bit
 
i have done a few really dumb things.

when i was doing the r246 enduro with a pennzoil nismo gtr against the other jgtc cars i really f'ed up. i put a really large lead on everyone else, maybe like a half a lap or something. then when i came up lapping the other pennzoil gtr car i started to play with him. because my oil light was already on, i was down on power enough that we were a good match. almost exactly the same speed. it was really fun continiously putting passing moves on him, trying them on different turns and stuff. trying different lines through turns. this was almost the only time i enjoyed overtaking in this game because gt3's ai's are so bad. anyway, after doing this for a while i had noticed that the other cars had almost caught up. maybe he was 15 secs back now. and now i noticed that my tires were worn pretty bad. i wouldnt have time for a pitstop now and i needed one badly!! i would try to keep him off. on the past few laps he was really gaining on me. and on the last lap my tires were finally REALLy red. this guy passed me on the last lap. i think the other car did too, so i got put into 3rd. that was all because i was caught off guard while fooling around with another car. what was even worse was that i think the r246 enduro was like 100laps. i had just wasted over 2 hours.

slapping a stage 4 turbo on it and expecting it to turn like a f1.. in the end, i thikn it started to drift a little on test course
 
Lol... I won a pink car. That's the stupidest thing that HAPPENED to me. I forgot the name, but it looked like a pink mini van.
 
i think those micro van things are pretty cool. i would probably buy one of those as a cruiser if i already had a nice car for roadracing.
 
That would be humiliating if you were cruising down the highway in your Porche 911 GT3 and then suddenly a Bright Pink Vitz whizzes rightby you in front of all of your friends :lol:
 
probably the most stupidest thing that happened to me was the first day I ever played GT3,I had bought a Miata and I had continously won the Super Speedway race in the Sunday Cup to gain money to "upgrade" the HP on my Miata,and when I got done,I thought it was an auto save type game,like the rest of the games I had played before GT3,so I just cut the game off after putting ALL my hard earned hours into it,thinkin' it had saved it.then when I cut it back on a few hours later..I didn't have ANY data -_-,I feel so stupid =P,lol

AE86Driver, that really had to suck! I've done that once, but it was after only about 20 minutes of playing. Anyway, the pink car I won IS a Vitz. Believe me, I was laughing when I won that fruit-mobile. I think I'm going to upgrade it! lol
 
lol!I won that car too,but I don't think I'd ever drive somethin' that fruity :p!If my grandma had data for GT3,I'd tell her it was a good car,then she'd probably buy it from my garage,then I'd sell it :lol:!

I know this is a lil off subject,but I also did that with Tekken Tag Tournament one time =P.I had beat the game with Forest Law,Xianhou (or however you spell it),Bryan,and Paul...after that,my friend came over and he was like,"dude,let's go",so I just said,"okay,then I looked RIGHT UP AT THE SCREEN where it said,"Save Data?" and I cut it off thinkin' it said,"Saving Data"!oooooh I was so pissed >_>! but when I came back home,I just went through and beat it again with them same people =D,only this time,I found out Xianhou had a Schoolgirl outfit,so I beat the game with her wearing her Schoolgirl outfit,and I couldn't believe it,she also had baggy socks!she looked so cute =D,but I like the Schoolgirl outfit better in Tekken 4 ^_^,it looks the same,but the graphics look a whooole lot better,hehe

in GT2, i had a game that was around 88% complete (this was the first game i had ever saved). i was playing a new game, starving for actual challenge, as all i had left in my original 88% game was enduros and the occasional model-specific race. i plyed for a few hours, it was just so fun, and i got a good game worked up. i decided that i'd use this for my next GT2 trip, so i saved it...wait...i onlt have one memory card...NNOOO!
i dove to the PSX and ripped my card out of the slot right at the beginning of a save...there went my 88%.
 
I had I believe around 50% in GT2, I wanted for some reason for it not to auto load and check something on a fresh game. Well instead of going to load i went to save. I load my game I look at my screen I have 20000 (whatever was the amount for a fresh game). But now I have a "100"% in GT2 safely on two memory cards. I'm paranoid about my brother saving over my GT3 game now, since it's in mem slot 1. I should get an extra memory card.
 
Yes, i have my own and two memory cards both with the same 100% GT3 save just in case...
 
So it's actually from the actual cartoon?
 
well, yea but it's not a cartoon

they actually mixed 2d, 3d and drawings together to make the series

i think AE86Driver can explain this better
 
The races were rendered in 3D and animated. All the characters were 2D animated drawings. Just slide in those 2D characters into the 3D cars, and there you have your Initial D.
 
well MaxOr..if ya wanna put it that way,I'd have to agree =D.but hey,who would've thought?CG animated races actually looking like anime and reality almost..well in some places anyways.oh yeah,by the way,Frustrated Palm,yes...it is a pic from Initial D,but I edited it to look kinda funny,hehe =D.I colored the hood of the Trueno black,colored the white headlights,yellow..then I painted a tongue sticking out on the front of the grill kinda,lol.I wrote on the windshield,but you can't see it..I didn't think it'd be THAT small,but it was...so if you were wondering what that turqouise looking text is on the windshield,it says,"Child's Play",lol
