Well, it's technically the largest subwoofer in the world. It's a horn style bass chamber powered by 16 18 inch woofers. The single bass chamber makes them work together as a single unit.
just to give you an idea to the size of the woofer, it's built into the floor of the largest personal listening room in the world. The room itself is 8.4 x 6.95 meters and contains over 20 speakers providing a full 5.1 surround. If you consider that the room was built to have near perfect acoustics, it makes you wonder how insane/obsessed a person would have to be in order to even consider something like this. The scary thing is, the compression chamber is covered in marble...if you turn the woofers up to their max, the marble would probably crack under the pressure being built up in there
