Biggest surprise you got online

First time i went online, i entered a room filled with various types of cars, and I saw how incredibly fast the X2010 was. My reaction was: "What the 🤬 was THAT?!" because i just got the game and there I was playing only in arcade mode before going online.
And when i finally got the X2010, i got rapidly bored with it.:grumpy:
 
Being 2nd in Qualifying but ending the race (NĂĽrburgring, 2 laps) last place, because in every of the three crashes I was involved in I ended up being the one who hugged the wall whilst the others drove away like nothing happened. But i'm not complaining.

Edit: I usually don't drive online, although I like it somehow.

Bite my shiny metal exhaust pipe!

I don't know if some of you have noticed, but I usually host a lounge called "Cruising & Driving" on the Top Gear Test Track. If you've been there you may have noticed two light blue Lamborghini's of which belong to me and a friend. Some people rain on our specialty but this guy was a joke..

We were just parking in the corner of the track, where we usually do. And a user came along and parked in front of us, and proceeded to say "Stupid". He then tried to ram into us so we both paused, he went through the invisible cars and hit the wall and said "Can't you damage them or something" I told him to leave, then he replied "I didn't know the Queen played GT5"

What was his problem.....

lol i got two First one was yestrday a bunch of retard asians hating other asians claiming to be bloods calling themselves Team Shunk2 they are slow as heck and they claiming them selves to the the fastest in racing hondas because the ghost launch rofl and they be netbanging everyday rofl :P

The 2nd is a bunch of 10 years old drift team name Diamondback drifters they are rasict as hell.
 
Seeing someone in an X2010 despite there being a limit that is way lower then the X2010.

I've seen them Lamborghini's :D, your friends is a chrome line isn't it? I got in my orange one one time I seen you too and parked with you both :lol:, not sure if you remember it :P

They are both Turquoise LP670-4 SV Lamborghini's. However a 599 under the same colour was recently purchased by the owner of the other SV.
 
Yup, and the 599 is sweet. :) Nice to know you find them interesting. ;)

Driving on the Ring with small-tuned-japanese cars with other people using similar cars is extremely fun. Also being ovrertaken on the straight by a GT40 is astonishing. That roar :O

I am going for two weeks now so I hope people post to the thread! And I just came 7th in a fiat in the mr cup!
 
My biggest suprise was tryin online for the first time joining 6 different shuffle races and never getting to complete a lap its put me off online racing altogether now :-(
 
Playing Nascar last night for the first time, I think I laughed the whole 20 laps



Pure carnage and mayhem, made a change from the usual
 
Probably my biggest surprise was how much fun online racing is. Spent over an hour on the Ring the other day doing a few laps, then about six or seven of us all drag racing each other back and forth along the back straight for ages.

And also surprised at the friendliness of some players. Had some guy from Croatia/Sweden or somewhere helping my wee Fiat 500 (original one) up the hills at Deep Forest during one free run game. Then later some other guy helped me out too. :D
 
Got into 4 cars battle (in Macca. 600pp clean race) for the lead for 5 laps which surprise me on only my 5th attempt on racing online.
Plus, i'm the only one using DS3.
The outcome: I won. :D

Flying a Cilo v6 around Toscana at 300mph, I hit a bend and it took off and made X1s look slow, I have a video to prove this however its not long cause I got disconnected from the server from doing it. I just didn't expect it to happen.
 
Not me exactly. But a friend of mine who owns a Toyota Chaser (JZX90, which is not the exact model in the game). He had the only JZX90 in Sweden (I believe there are two in the country as of recently) was doing some drifting online and a guy came out in the Chaser from the game. My friend told him that he owned a jzx90, and how awesome it was.
After a bit of talking my friend figured out that the guy driving the Chaser was actually a real life friend of the guy he bought his car from.. Small world.
 
My biggest surprise? Not to get any Birthday ticket or what so ever...
 
^ I have a related surprise. I got 4 B-Day tickets. 2 for each account. It was pretty cool. :lol:
 
My current surprise? That everybody is using the dlc cars online. Oh wait, thats not a surprise at all.
 
Finishing 1st by a good 20+seconds in my RM'd DC5 against a load of sportscars and a Bentley Le Mans car round the 'ring. The Bentley would accelerate away on every straight then bin it at the next corner.

I dont know why people say Pimped Out, i dont think Pimps can drive very well with all that jewelry on them and those crazy tinted shades and fur capes.
 
My biggest surprise (and probably everyone's that was on the room too) was in a free run in Nordschleife. I wanted to add som km to some cars of mine so I took my fully tuned VW Sambabus. The result was that everyone that was about to pass me slow down to take a look at my car. But the surprise came when someone in a X2010 (that was doing quite nice) overtook me but stayed on front of me for a few seconds. I tried to draft him to see how fast I could go but he took off. I guess Sambabuses are not very popular online :)
