The race version is far worse. It's weaker than the concept and costs 5.6 million I think. Plus it's a prize car, so buying it is a massive waste.

The concept only has only one gear and accelerates very slowly and you can't change the final top speed to add this. I actually enjoy the race car, it is very twitchy stock but after a set-up is a very able car.

ferrari f1, can't get online to race, and it can't be used in a/b spec so for me it was a time trial vehicle or race against the same f1 car in arcade. got really annoyed then restarted my game from scratch.

I still don't know why we can't use these online. The PD Formula Car is faster, but you can use it online, so why not the Ferraris?!

You can use it online...

Create lobby > car restrictions > ferrari F1

or just open up your eyes and look for one already made..
 
Super gt cars! All 50 of them, what's the point! I have a furai that I won at Lv 9 and it out turns, out accelerates and out runs super GT cars, and can race any racy that super GT cars can!

I only use modern race cars if i want to dominate a race... I'm the kind of person that would enter a road car in the 24h Nurburgring! (actually I did) I avoid race cars like the plague unless I'm grinding... The highest I would go otherwise are track cars such as the Pagani Zonda R and Mazda Furai... I even avoid my RM ZR1! My favorite car is my McLaren F1...

So you don't want the Super GT cars in the game because you don't use them? Selfish much?

I'm used to thinking of the S13 as an 80's car, and since I was trying to use all premiums at that point I bought it for the Japanese 80's tournament. One year too new!

I didn't have much money at that point either.

Or go on and go off 300 times of a event ;) I recommend you do this in practice or in licenses(you can pass the licences easily,just press "Next event" )

The BMW McLaren - it was the second to last standard car I needed and it handles like a dog sled smeared in pig poop.

Mind you, that was back when credits were harder to come by. Now I've got 3 and I don't drive any of them.

The car handles fine on the stock tune with RH tires.
I can do 3.32.5xx at Le Sarthe 2009 (NC) with relative ease- just remember it's an old car with relatively little downforce and go easy on the throttle.

WTF?? No offense, but the 787B has great handling, engine sound and look. IMO it´s one of the best cars in GT5. Not even close to creditwaste!

Do you play with ds3 or wheel?
 
The 787B? I won the 24-hr Nurburgring endurance with it. I don't regret buying that at all.

Now, the Ferrari Enzo was a waste of cash. Sure, it's the fastest among the Ferrari exotics, but I just don't like driving it. I didn't think the understeer would be that bad.

Same here. Enzo sure is fast, but stock it has too much understeer (even though breaking early and kind of "roll into the corner" helps to avoid this effect)

Prizes aren't half off anymore, making the OCD only useful to buy on the last day.

The most overpriced car is the Enzo, altrough the McLaren F1 actually is more becaused it's also overrated.

I won 24h of le mans and 24h Nurburgring (though the latter wasn't the cleanest of races) in the McLaren f1! Whats the problem with the McLaren anyway?

:indiff: Its so boring, id rather drive that Nissan Skyline of 320.000 or spend 250.000 on tuning a Scion xB. Which i both did.

That is a legit reason! I find race cars boring so I find them overrated... Now I want to try the xB, flying box of doom!

Such old typed cars like the Ford Mk. IV isn't fully assured of their extraordinary performance or efficiency of the gearshifts - as they aren't equipped with what is thought to be common to be placed in the interior of the machines, and due to less cognizance as to the safety of racing applied to a real competition.

I tuned it more to be - a funny - internet gangster in cruise rooms, so mine is very slow around corners and revs a lot. But its also -30 mm lowered and i'm trying to make it drift (hard with FF though)

Old race car value is mostly for stunning looks! The chaparral 2d, ford mk4, Ferrari 330p4, and Lamborghini Miura are all BEAUTIFUL cars! If there was a 1957 250 Testa Rossa, everyone would have it, If they had Henri Pescarolo's matra, almost nobody would have it.
