So anyways, I turn 28 today, & I'm wondering what kind of vehicle I'm gonna get for 1983. (From what i remember, 1983 isn't exactly a great year for cars).

So I thought I should start a thread and see which "Legit" Birthday cars people have got along the way...

Any major dissapointments ? Any Diamonds in the Rough ?

I logged on & got my Birthday card...

the Prize.... Toyota SPRINTER TRUENO GT-APEX...

DAMN IT... It had to be cheapest car on the list. (Didnt stop me Tuning it to the max & painting it Gold Chrome)...

Well, first of all, happy birthday... wish all the best for you :)

And, I'll turn 29 on May, 6... so, 1982... not a great year... but I know I'll at least be able to win an Audi Quattro... wich isn't bad.
 
I'm pretty lucky as far as when it comes to my birthday (on July 31st) as I was born in 1970. There might be only ten cars, but there's some great ones. Of course, at this point I only need one car from that year - the Mighty (expensive) Chaparral 2J!

For all I know, it's over three months away, and I'll probably have purchased the 2J already. Although, I've yet to have enough credits on hand to buy it the handful of times it's shown up in my UCD so far.

Guess we'll just have to see in (about) one-hundred nine days...

Back up your save when you get it so that if you don't get the 2J you can just try again. I don't think anything else from 1970 is worth keeping.

Thanks for the advice, but that kinda goes without saying.
(Although, anytime that I haven't gotten a great car the 1st time I cash in a ticket, it usually doesn't improve from there...)

My birthday was March 2 and I didn't even get a birthday car - do you have to be logged in on the day? Weirdness!!

Born in 1978, december to be precise. I got my gift last december, this is what I received: Mitsubishi MIRAGE 1400GLX '78

I'm pretty sure I'll get another Mirage this year, since there's one or two 1978 cars... maybe three, not sure. Dome Zero is 78 but I already have it. Anyways, I'll see in december...
