Alright,I've tried this challenge a bunch of times now and I can't seem to beat it,except monza. I've searched around the site and can't find much of solid tips to beat it. The main reason I want it done is so I can autogrind with the x2010. I'm using a DS3 and the only assists I have on are ABS 1 and TCS 1. Also if anyone has an extra car and would like to trade let me know(didn't wish to post this in trading forum because this isn't really a trading post). Anyway I can supply a car up to 2mil. Thanks for any help.

Hi Oryx.

I use a DS3 and a similar setup - I don't use a traction control, but as the X2010 is incredibly grippy it doesn't make any difference apart from the very slow corners.

I don't claim to have completely cracked driving this car, I can't yet get the Golds on these challanges as yet, I just haven't driven enough laps in the car. Just keep driving it, forget the timer at first, keep lapping. The purpose of which is to get you used to the total vision and brain recalibration needed to keep this car on the circuit, let alone lap fast and neat. It does eventually come to you, I promise. Once you've got used to the mad late braking and banzai turn in speeds you can start to flow a bit.

Once you reach this stage you should be there. This car turns like a demon if you're on either the brakes or the throttle, but it's turn-rate is much less if you just hold a balanced throttle through the corners like you would in the road cars - so try for an agressive line where you brake late and hard, carry on braking nearly to the apex, and get back on the throttle pretty much immediately. This car needs it's chassis totally loaded to perform at it's best. I hope you'll find that the Bronze medals are not very hard if you put in a bit of time, and the Bronzes are good enough to use the car elsewhere...

I suggest to practice at the tracks just to find how you would approach it when doing the challenge. Personally, I did it without practicing with road cars, but I already know the tracks well enough.

When doing the challenge, just do a slow lap just to get use to it. It gets really frustrating when you keep failing miserably over and over and over again. Take a breather and clear your mind. I'd say you should set your TC to 0, just set your ABS to 1.

To cheer you up, most of us here went through hell just to get bronze at Suzuka. Took me a long time compared to the other two.

If you are talking about trading for the x2010, then it is not possible. Not that we are greedy, PD stopped us to do so. Also, I guess welcome to GTPlanet.

Hi, if you only want the car for grinding and your not bothered about completing the challenge, just get to level 35 b-spec and you get given one. Or add me on psn and you can borrow mine I've got 3 on-line for people to use. :-)

Thanks for all the help. I'm planning on picking up a wheel eventually the only thing now is I don't think I can take it to my next command with me so I have to stick with the DS3 now as much as I don't like it.
