It could be just that your controller is sticking slightly?
That happens to me sometimes in other games, the position which the stick ends up in is ever so slightly pulled to the left or right which causes movement. I notice it mostly in racing games and I haven't noticed it in Black.
However it could just be a glitch in the demo...
Yeah, the controls are pretty sensitive in this game, sometimes my character starts moving alone but that's because the L3 is a bit off centre. I just turn it around a couple of times and it stops. It's not the game's fault, it's the DS2 getting old. I gotta buy a new one anyway.
I was playing this over the weekend and last night, definitely one of the best FPS' for the PS2. Too bad there's no online mode, it would be so cool playing those huge levels in multiplayer.
What I like about this game are the huge stages, it usually takes me 50 minutes to finish each. Last night I finished level 4 (I think it was level 4, the one you have to shot some mines on the ground across a field, sometimes you get some really cool chain reactions), this one took me one hour and five minutes to beat. And although I like the long levels, that's one of the reasons I'm moving so slowly through this game. I don't have much time to play the PS2 lately, so when I finish a level I realize I won't have an extra hour to finish one more and then I turn the game off to play something else in those extra minutes.
Also, the graphics are really good on this game, the level I played last night was beautiful. I think they did an amazing job with the lighting and special effects. Black is now on my list of PS2 "WOW" games, you know, games that really stand out from other PS2 titles when it comes to graphics. Other games on this list are God of War, GT4, TT, Jak series and Ratchet and Clank series.
I won't be able to play it tonight but I'll try to play one more stage at least on wednesday night.
