Anyway, racing last night, I've come to the conclusion that Polyphony hate Europe and love the US.

Once again, I'm in a predominantly EU room and black screens, lagging, messed up grids; I pop over to a predominantly US room and the races are fine.

I just don't understand it

If any of you have Nat3 and are complaining you shouldn't because that is the problem. Follow a guide to change it. Nat1 is directly plugged in and Nat2 is just as good but wireless. Remember your Internet name and password has to be assigned to the router not the Internet box or you may be getting a double nat type. Basically no matter how many guides you follow you will still get Nat3 if you don't do this. It took me so long to figure out how to do this as I have a apple router which is totally different from all the others, but so worth it because life is sweet now. Also check connection speed on ps3 and see how strong a signal your getting. I get 40% and it's super fast but sometimes it drops to 25% and I get signed out or long online loads but I just have to restart the router and Internet box to get it back up again.

Doesn't all drivers exiting to the pits before the race start reduce the chances or the black screen?

complete myth. your connection to everyone else in the room doesn't magically change when you're in the pits.

Happened to me everytime i tried to race online last week,gave up in the end. Happened to me the other day in GT Life aswell,just froze on the BSOD.
