Black Screen Red Line Launch 1/4 Mile Times List

Let's make this a times list where you post you black screen red line launches. This will give tuners a reasonable goal to work towards. For the longest time, I had no clue that some tuners did timed and rpm launches to reach top times. Without this knowledge I became extremely frustrated with the fact that I was always just behind the top times. Let's make this a casual times list more for trying to improve your tunes against other peoples times rather than to compete for top times! I don't want photo proof, just no aids and legitimate redline launches.

I'll post some of my times

If no one is interested, just let this thread die.

I like the sound of this thread. This is the idealistic launch to use of you are tuning for Indy anyway, due to the fact as you can't special launch or time your launch when online 👍

Exactly, plus I want new tuners to not get discouraged when they can't reach the top times.

You don't have to do pics, just type your times. This isn't an official leaderboard, just a list for people to refer back to. But thanks for posting!
 
Maybe it should be reworded as Indy tunes times with rpm launch. Speed test and Indy are two VERY different arenas.

I know what you're trying to intend but people who innovate and try all sorts of ideas, like retro will find ways to get the most out of there cars. Also no pics means people will make fibs of times.. And we know one silly sailor on these forums who won't put any of his times up without proof :dunce:


Edit if you're real smart about guessing the ghost you can do an ideal rpm launch. Lol I've tried it before and absolutely smashed my opposition :lol:

This is for both Indy and Ssrx. I recognize that both are drastically different, but you can't time launch for either online. Again, this isn't a leaderboard for people to prove themselves, it is to share times and have a general idea of what to work for. It's a friendly list free of drama and competition. If people want to legitimize their times by posting pic then great! Some people don't have access to a camera or they don't know how to post pics. I myself don't currently have a camera (it just took a dump...) and my smartphone won't upload pictures to the app or website for some reason.

I can get you pics if its really necessary, its gonna be a little bit of work but meh. My Enzo, Viper and Speed 12 are broken in.

They are not necessary for my thread. This list is just to have a basic idea of times to work towards.

I'll hopefully be posting new times later tonight. I'll also update the times list with some times that were posted in the thread.

I would really like to get a lot of unusual car times posted here so people can just reference this list. The cars I tune and drag aren't on the leaderboard so I don't know where I stand with my cars. I want to change that! I'm just going to throw a quick tune on everything that I can and post the times here.

Popped by to say i edited my old post, I added new times. I may be adding new times periodically and alot of them are about 10min tunes so they should give everyone a decent base time for the cars. Any requests for cars for me they want to see times on. Just quote me and i'll see what I can do :)
 
I posted an edit to my times on page 1. Fixed my Enzo time it was wrong, it was a tad faster than I actually run. Sorry for the mistake

Errrm, pretty sure that is backwards, spelling is important mate, rewarded not reworded. Aren't people supposed to supply proof when submitting times, try 'won't put up any times with proof'. The level of grammar and errors stuns me sometimes. Some nice full rpm launch times here though.👍👍

Fail attempt at a cheap shot at me is fail bro.
