Pffffffthahahaha you don't realize that this effects the whole drifting forum? Not just the D-MAX guys... The mods feel like they can decide what the topic for a drift team is.
Exactly, this affects everyone...

+1 with mani, why would we copy this team. What's your point here? Is there a copyright or something?!?

Go troll in your thread man....
I don't think you understand what Mani or spank were saying...

And chris is right, a word of warning, it has to be related to GT5 or it's off-topic.

Once again, not your business here guys, and I think I understood very well what he said, but looks like you guys didn't understand what I said... go back to your topic... not your business here as far as I know lill' boy. If the mods want to lock or cancel or whatever, then it's ok for me, but you guys are not mods right?
You feel like you have to come and troll on our thread because your thread was locked and our thread wasn't?
Still the same poor state of mind in this D-max team....

Once again, go back to your thread if you want to troll, or play the mod!

Keep off our thread god damit get on yours.
I don't care much about these rules not got any warnings of the Moderators yet but when the Dmax's guys are spamming our thread now this thread will get locked very soon.

We're not supporting the mods decisions, we're pointing out their absurdity.

Doing so in public, on another thread isn't smart Chris. Mods have power. And besides, they still deserve some respect, even if some decisions aren't 100% on the mark.

To be honest, even while we're talking about this thread and the rules a moderator can't be serious in saying "stay on topic". This sub forum is called drifting teem and meets therefore us discussing the future of our thread cannot in anyway be called off topic by a sane mind, after all it still concerns our team...

Even these videos cannot be said to be off topic in my opinion as it shows the passion and interest of cars of the team members and that they want to share them. Yeah sure the rest the other threads that are dedicated to videos and random pics of real cars, but what if you want to share them with your teammates?

This whole moderator thing is getting a bit silly, I doubt most of them been in a drift team or any team for that matter so I doubt they will be understanding of what I just said.

And if I get banned or this thread get locked for expressing an opinion so be it... Would not be awfully surprising that a silly reason like that could provoke that, but then again signs of ignorance are highly visible from the moderators from what I have seen.

How were we spamming your thread? I was trying to help you out :(

I finally got a three day break from the army:dopey:. I will drift as much i can this weekend because monday i have to go back to the army and be there again for two weeks before the next break.

Will try to be on as much as possible and get some drifting done dude, haven't drifted with you in a while now :)

I might join a Wangan team for the Wangan competition I will be joining soon, if it's not a proplem for you Mani?

Wow those couple pages of text about dmax and mods..lets just calm down and stay on topic guys!

Anyone up for some drifting in Gran Turismo 5?

To be honest, the staff are tired of having to clean up entire pages of nothing but real-life videos, or livejournal-esque "this was my day" posts from the teams, too. Think of how much info a new member is going to glean from your thread if they're curious about your team when all they can read is how one of the team members went out last night and got drunk. Ah, informative.

You could try the crazy idea of... linking them to another thread? Surely that's not too hard. I'm not sure what the appeal is in using a lone, monolithic thread as a catch-all for any remote idea that interests any of the team.

This whole moderator thing is getting a bit silly, I doubt most of them been in a drift team or any team for that matter so I doubt they will be understanding of what I just said.

This whole questioning the moderator's decisions thing is getting a bit silly, I doubt most of you have been moderators or administrators at a site as large and varied in its scope as this.

...see how easy that line of reasoning is?

And if I get banned or this thread get locked for expressing an opinion so be it... Would not be awfully surprising that a silly reason like that could provoke that, but then again signs of ignorance are highly visible from the moderators from what I have seen.

If you've tried reading the AUP, you'll see there's nothing in there that says we ban users simply for expressing their opinions (unless of course, that opinion breaks any of the other stated rules).

The staff have been incredibly patient with this section; I'm sure it feels you're unfairly targeted, but the policy on off-topic discussion extends site-wide. Yes, even in the Off-Topic sections, ironically enough: a thread about Lego doesn't need pages and pages of people discussing architecture, as just a random, made-up example.

Mentioning ignorance brings up an excellent point; why is this sub-section one of the absolute worst for ignoring the Acceptable Use Policy, despite every single member having to agree to it before joining?

Just a quick heads up lads. Unfortunately my money has been messed around and have been stopped for awhile. So my Internet will be getting cutoff for a while. But don't worry I'm not leaving for good, and I'll still be on GTP on my iPhone.

Edit: just worked out that I still get money and everything will be ok :)!
