Blue Moon Bay Speedway 15 Minute Endurance Hell!

Here's an easy way to do this mission for those that are struggling with it:

Car: BMW M6 GT3 M Power '16
Hard Tyres
Traction Control Off
Fuel Mix - 1 (max power)
Put the camera in chase view
On the main straight keep as close to the right side wall as possible, and aim to be lightly rubbing against the wall so that sparks appear just before the first corner, then keep accelerating, riding the wall around the corner - this will always get you around this corner quicker than everyone else!
Take the second corner flat out, and stick as close to the racing line as possible
Coast around the final corner - there shouldn't be any need to use the brakes at all during the whole race!
You should be in 1st place by about lap 8 or 9.
Pit as soon as the fuel warning appears, but do not change tyres to save time. Exit pits when fuel gets to 90%, this will be enough to get you to the end of the race without adjusting fuel mix.
Continue as before. You might not exit the pits in 1st place, but all the cars ahead of you will still need to pit!
 
I made another ID so I could upload more decals for the LE, but been doing some of the offline on occassion.

Like the first time, I used the gr3 Subaru on RS tires. Couldn't remember my fuel, but ran it on 2 this time. Pitted at the end of lap 10, but double tapped X when choosing tires, and choose no fuel. I'm pissed thinking I have cost myself the race, but decide to continue. Make a lap, pit again, no tires, and roughly 8.5 for fuel. I come out of the pits in the lead. I'm dumbfounded, and go on to win unchallenged with just enough fuel to make it.

In short, you can pit twice, and still win this race.

That means PD patched it. It was impossible to win with 2 pit stops before.

I did it very similarly, first attempt after one failed attempt before looking up this thread.

WRX Gr 3
Soft tyres
Pit lap 9, (before lap 10 - by now 5th place)
Filled up full (didn't actually need to as it turned out, two thirds would do)
Switch to Medium tyres
1st place by lap 13 I think
Cruised to victory, never even really challenged.

December 2018, this strategy is still intact.

Just did 8-6 1st attempt. Probably helps i’ve done quite a few races there.
Don’t understand why anyone would use the wall, didn’t touch a wall or a car and still won by 1/2 lap

Because in December of 2017 (a month after this thread was started) PD increased all the gold requirement times by a significant amount. You can use any strategy you want now and win.
 
If I recall correctly, I used the McLaren 650S with RM tires and no pit stop. The thing I did was use mix 6, and stay in the slipstream of the car in front, until it pits, and then go up to mix 2/3, and ran mix 1 near the end to prevent the Subaru and mustang from gaining massive time.
 
I listen to your tips and none of them worked for me , i took hurracan gt3 on fuel map 1 with soft tyres , pit in on 12 lap like rest of opponents, changed tyres to soft fuel for 8 more laps and won with 7 seconds gap
 
I completed this mission quite easily twice, on two different accounts. Both times with a Viper Gr.3 and both times i finished exactly on 15 minutes. Didn't play with the settings either

I'd say, just take a car with high top speed and time your pit stop correctly, then it shouldn't be much of a ruckus

I'm actually seeing for the first time people struggling with this mission. It isn't really that hard in my opinion. The N24 Nurburgring race with Gr.3 cars was harder for me
