Hi, i have a bluetooth headset that isn't muting when i press the mute button. This only happens on Gran Turismo 5, no where else.

Has anyone had this happen to them before, and if so, is there a way to fix it...

Any help would be appreciated :)

I have the same, When I'm playing GT5 it won't work but COD Blqck Ops does work. I do not have any idea why.
Which headset do you have?

Have you guys tested your headsets outside of the gameing environment by going to the system settings area on the XMB menu and then into audio accessories? You can test all of your headset functions in there and if something doesn't work at that point, it's not the game that's at fault, but the headset itself.

In addition to the advice that turbolefty78 posted above, also make sure that you are actually hitting the Mute function. I found that I was pushing the connect/disconnect button on mine and wondering why the sound would revert back to TV when I thought I was muting the mic only.

I have the Plantronics P90 and I found that to mute the mic on it, you have to press down on the volume control until it clicks to mute the mic only.

Also, you can mute your mic through the PS3 in an online room by clicking on your name and muting the mic from the menu that pops-up. That can be a pain though, especially after the race starts. ;)

I am completely sure it is the game, I have gone into the settings and it does mute, and I do hit the mute button, I have taken it off of my ear and pressed it, with no result :( , thanks for the suggestions at least...

Tried it before a few times and everything worked fine accept playing GT5 altough its not a big deal for me. I type quite fast so my headset is lying around in the dust somewhere xD

i love gt5
