Pretty cool racing against Dooble , finally he got 2nd on a race at Anboy. :sly:
 
Anyone still plays this besides me and Dooble , this could be something like GT5 forum because it has the photomode forum and online races , so it still has a few caracteristics that match GT5 forums.

Blurring real cars and weapon pick-ups in a racing game never sat right with me.

I won't say my opinion is entirely valid since I'm basing it off one incomplete race; the only time I ever played it..... on a demo. Its overall impression fell flat on me. I'd rather play Split/Second, but I knew I'd get bored of Split/Second pretty easily which is why I never bought that either.

Hmmm, I'd have been a skeptic, but I was introduced to it because a friend had gotten it. I'd never heard of it, and I love racing games. But once I played it I was hooked. Unfortunately I didn't get to play it again till I bought it about a month ago.
:)

I say it's a mix of GT and Mario Kart, and it made me realize a big fault of GT.
Quantity over quality isn't so great, because I don't need 1000 cars to keep me happy. There are 50 or less on Blur, but the graphics are better...not necessarily the cars but the overall feel.

The cars are pretty realistic (and real) and the feel of it is solid.
Games like S/S and Burnout with their fake marquees just feel very weird.
Have you ever seen a Krieger Pioneer?
 
I don't know about anywhere else, but here in the UK, Blur costs about £6. No need to think at that price :)

Sorry for the thread bump, but if anyone is still playing Blur, do you mind adding me? I need help with All Rounder and Motor Mash trophies. It's really difficult to get 4 people online at the same time with the little amount of people playing now. I've been asking on other sites too but it's still pretty hard to find people.
