interesting, will this be the first DLC car?
I know I will pay $1.99 for it (not sure if I would pay more though), $0.99 would be even better but I think $1.99 is a pretty standard price for cars (at least EA thinks so)

only 335 horsepower though and heavier than a 135i, kind of dissapointed with BMW, I mean a $1000 chip can give any 135i owner 340+ horsepower (in game and real life). Was thinking of a lighter car with 350 HP, but I guess that would compete with their M3...
 
BMWs are nice to look at, but are far too heavy, Im not lying, even an evo6 can eat most BMWs..and cost half. Look wise, I might just vote for Evos too (only Evo 6 T.M.E, Evo 8 GSR MR respectfully).

It does not matter if you do not get an opportunity to drive this car in the real world.
If you can dream about it and own the Sony Playstation 3 , you can drive the car in the virtual world.
The 1M Coupe will be offered in the near future as a special download for Gran Turismo 5.

depends what you are talking about, a 328i vs a evo6, sure, but if I had to choose one to drive everyday I would pick the 328i everyday, that would be like asking if you would rather sleep on concrete or a mattress! Now an M3 would easily smoke a evo6 as would any M
 
Total rumours. Game has been out not even A month! Just somone throwing rubbish around to get talk started. If gran turismo do intrroduce this car it won't be so soon! Or even issue a DLC pack

It's true that the newer BMWs are too heavy but I'm not so sure that an evo 6 would leave behind an e46 M3, or an M3 CSL, or an M coupe, or z4 M Coupe, or an e90 M3, etc. You can't really make broad generalizations like that because there are always exceptions.

Plus, part of the reason that evo 6 costs less than most new BMWs is because, first of all, it's older, and second, Mitsubishi doesn't build cars to last. The evo 6 is crazy fast but it's also sub-par in the quality of its construction and in reliability. Also, it may be cheaper to buy an ev0 6 where you are but here in the states it would be astronomically expensive to get a hold of one. WAAAAAAy more than it would cost to buy most any BMW.

Nope. I think it's dumpy looking too and I've been a BMW fan most of my life!
 
Wait...okay. Forza 4 is coming out in October and it's supposed to have the 1M coupe in it. But BMW said it'd appear in GT5 first...so does that mean between now and October, GT5 will finally see DLC content?

Either that, which I've hoped for some time, or it's not gonna happen at all.
At this point, no information about dlc has been shared by PD and we're doing everything we can ourselves to make it look like dlc is coming, like we did with this BMW which will most likely never be in GT5.

There's been only silence from PD in a long time, especially on this issue, even though many sidepartners have leaked information hinting dlc, and it really makes one wonder exactly what is happening at Polyphony's HQ.
It's really weird that a top selling title like this, which even promised dlc and has so many potential dlc buyers, haven't released anything with a price tag for the first 8 months after release. The number of customers is getting lower and lower for each and every day that passes since people stop playing.

And the rumors surface once again.. hopefully that source is legit, that would be a fun car to have in GT5.
