Sorry to be abit of a pedantic with this (especially since its abit dated), but the year is completely incorrect. The BMW in this thread is from 1975, which at that point it was a Group 5 Competitor in IMSA. The only touring car racing BMW from 1972 was this, the BMW 2800CS Alpina:
