Didn't EA have the rights to BMWs M cars? Is that the reason we got the base models in GT2? Well anyways I seen some M3s in GT4 car list at the sony site. So does that mean that they dont have the license any more?
TalGuyDude i believe that the BMW decides who gets to feature their cars in their games so yea EA does and so does PD they will be featured in the car including m3 race cars
JNasty4G63I hope we get an E30 M3
Totally. I owned one back in '98, and loved it. It was a black '90 that was just cherry. The guy who owned it before me only drove it occasionally. It only had just over 6500 miles when I got it. I drove it for a few years as my daily driver when living in Phoenix. It was a great car, but I never gave it the attention it needed. I had a 1G DSM at the time that was getting all my time and $$$$ as my auto-x car at the time. I wish I would have done it the other way around. Oh well, some day I'll get another.Minnesota01R6You and me both!!!
OH YEA, the "Super Shoe" is making an appearance. Along with a few other nice ones. Not sure what, if any, others will be in the game, but here are a few nice ones from the website......a6m5I can't belive the M Coupe made it in. Way to go P.D.!
The Official Japanese GT4 Site, http://www.playstation.jp/scej/title/gt4What site are those from?
No doubt. I mean, hell, this car STARTS with a 615hp Twin Turbo V12. Who knows how much power it will have fully tuned in the game. Should be AWESOME!!!!Dev_Zero..... And they really need to, as their biggest rival, Mercedes, has a few awesome cars in aswell.
awsome im in MI too <8- ) i want to go to gingerman next year if my car is done. 👍 i hope they have the M1.Minnesota01R6I got a ride in it on gingerman race track in Michigan and I almost threw up from the braking forces throwing me into the 5 points.
Depends on what we're using the car for????McLaren F1GTRSo which do you want?

If its a street car, I'd go with a CL 65 AMG anyday. Big torque is what makes for a nice daily driver, and the 65's have that in spades. And, I absolutely love the current CL body style. Great cruiser. I've only seen 2 in person (both CL600s), but damn are they hot. Thats my pick for my ultimate daily driver. Anything that comfy and good looking is great, but when you add 615hp and 730ft/lbs to that package, its tops in my book.
On the other hand, if we're talking about a track car, and it had to be from either BMW or MB, I'd go for the CLK-DTM street car they just released. Its just as elusive and rare as the M3-GTR street. But, I'd prefer the Benz. I like the M3, and with an M5 V8 underhood, the GTR is a good start. But, a stripped out, wide-body CLK with the SLR engine underhood is just too good for me to pass up. I hope it makes the game as well.

....Which is what the M5 engine is. The M5 engine is the big, unestricted version of both of those motors. Same basic powerplant, minus the restrictors and other such racing required items. But, yes, you are correct. The M3-GTR does have a 4.0L V8.allsops.....It actually uses a detuned version of the V8 that's in the M3 GTR Race car (a 4L unit).

allsopsFrom Car & Driver:
"The M3's V-8 is not a version of the engine that powers BMW street cars. It's a racing motor designed by the same BMW Motorsport branch that built the engine many believe was the most powerful Formula 1 engine in 2001, the BMW V-10."
