BMW M3 CSL Settings

I've been having a heck of a time getting the CSL to understeer less - steering with the throttle is my ultimate goal. I've only played with these settings a little bit but I encourage anyone and everyone to try these, rate them and also post your own. Lets get these settings licked!!!!

Only Engine MOD is Port and Polish

I'm with Duke on this one. + = Toe IN & - = Toe OUT. . . . .
 
i would stiffen up the rear springs, stiffen the front swaybar, even out the camber a little more, and then start tuning the shocks to dictate the in corner behaviour that you want.

a stiff rear doesnt mean you cant toss it for those 5th gear sweepers.

edit: and for christs sake raise it up off the ground a little, its not a ford probe. suspension travel is what allows you to use the mass of the car to your advantage, placing it where it needs to be to maximize grip at the end of the car where you need it. placing a car millimeters above the ground will just leave you working with 4 static gripping tires. cant tune that now can you?
 
These are my settings that i use for the M3 GTR, i would imagine they would carry over to the CSL, tho i haven't tried it.

Full Mods
All Driving Aids off

Tire: Racing medium (R3) F / R *I tune around medium or hard tires on all cars*
Brakes: 3 F / 3 R

Spring Rate 10.2 F / 13.0 R
Ride height: 75 F / 78 R
Bound: 5 F / 6 R
Rebound: 5 F / 6 R
Camber: 2.5 F / 1.0 R
Toe: 0 F / 0 R
Stabilizers: 5 F / 6 R
Downforce: 15 F / 15 R
LSD: Initail - 10 / Accel - 32 / Decel - 20

Tranny: Final - 3.911 / Auto 12 (adjust individual gears to preference and track)
I would advise making 1st and 2nd very tall, as i do with most cars.

This is the setup that works for me, keep in mind driving styles vary so settings may need to be "tweaked" a little. But to be honest this thing feels like it's on Rails!
